Great location and quiet. Very clean.

Hotel was in very handy place and a walk distance to the main square. Staff was very friendly and kind.

Good check in. Sadly the safe wasn’t working in the room, so we moved to another room and the safe didn’t work in that room either. There was only one pillow each. There was no cold water in the room only boiling water as the tap for the cold water wasn’t working. Reception were very apologetic and gave us a free breakfast.

The woman who helped me check in stayed late to accommodate my late flight, she was very kind. Nice stay overall!

The Art Hotel was just a happy experience. All the staff were helpful and spoke English. ( great for Aussies who don’t ) Muller the barman. especially , was super keen to please. Over the bridge from the main square was great, nice and peaceful. Not expensive but let’s face it, as tourists we only need a good bed . Too busy out all day and half the night exploring. While the location and property itself is fine, it is in a high standard with artsy feel there is one major shortcoming. Apparently hotel has this weird “policy” whereby they assume guests do not want room cleaned (for staying more than one night) unless they inform the staff they wanted room cleaned or put a “sign” on the door saying you want room cleaned. The front desk agent was not sympathetic and did not understand how ridiculous the policy is. I’m surprised other guests did not mention this weird policy. I hope management will take note of negative review and make changes immediately. Cleaning the room is a major part of a hotel’s job, should not be optional except maybe for apartments or long term stay properties. Most importantly they did not disclose info when checking in and no obvious disclosure in the room, so came as a bit of a shock and surprise.

Clean room, Fresh and tasty breakfast, Nice staff, Sauna, Comfy bed -no restored breakfast (i.e. no butter 2nd day, no eggs 1st day), -dirty corridor carpet, -price to quality!, -poor room light.

Thank you Gloria, you were so welcoming and helpful, and made our stay wonderful. Good hotel, good location - just behind the Rathaus, and a 5 minute walk across the bridge brings you to the centre and plenty of dining and shopping options.

Clean, comfortable hotel. Arty and not that practical at times. The bathroom is transparent! It may not be what everyone prefers. Do consider applying a frosting at least so the glass is not totally see-through. Great central location though.

Sadly this arte hotel was a disappointment. Our room was exceedingly hot being in the roof up two flights of stairs with windows facing south. And the air conditioning had failed as had the safe with flat batteries. We changed rooms but still in the attic this time with a shower that slipped down and a floor which turned our new white slippers dirty grey. We had to keep every window open which meant very noisy night and limited sleep. We stayed 2 nights and there was no room cleaning service. Breakfast was ok but no tables were cleared of dirty breakfast stuff. This wasn’t the staffs fault, the place was understaffed. Reception shouted at me that I should have called house cleaning when we got back (at 2200!) and that all of Linz had no air conditioning (not correct as we have found out elsewhere). I think if this was a budget hotel it’s ok. But it’s not at budget prices! Im sad because I like art and designer hotels rather than business chains. But this arte needs some decent management in my opinion.

Located next to Neue Rathaus by the river, easily reached with trams from main railway station. Business suite room was spacious and tidy - more than plenty just for myself. Efficient and friendly staffs, and easily walkable distance to all key sites in central Linz. Recommended.

This place is great. They had a very safe and secure place for me to stick my bicycle. Staff was very friendly. Hotel room was very nice.

We stayed 1 night. I had booked a business studio room and was given a handicap room. Not at all romantic and actually quite awkward. Assuming they had no other room. The room was not super clean as in hand prints all over the mirror in the room and the bottom of the shower curtain was all dirty and mildewed. The amenity kit in the washroom was ordinary with only 1 cue tip and the wrapping was opened. Would not stay here again.

The man at the front desk for the check in was so rude and condescending, I have never seen that in all my trip around the world!

An extremely well located hotel only steps across the Danube by bridge or streetcar to the main Plaza with connections to other streetcar lines. Hotel lobby was beautiful, staff were friendly, and the breakfast was elegant and delicious with numerous choices. However, the room was disproportionately small and rather austere in comparison to the elegance of the lobby area. The room was very small, the decor was mostly in white and felt blank, and it was somewhat awkwardly laid out. But generally, this seemed like a good, clean, and friendly hotel in a great location. BTW, the streetcar connections are direct from close to the hotel to the main train station.

Firstly, I would like to commend the hotel's convenient location and the spaciousness of the room, both of which positively impacted my experience. Additionally, I found the breakfast options to be diverse and enjoyable. However, I have to mention that I was a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. It wasn't quite up to par.
