Location. parking, hotel, parking accessibility was great, room looked clean from 1st glance, but counters, floors, trash, and bathtub had visible dirt lining them with the trash can being the w orst. I took the trash can to the service counter to be washed. The employee just put a clean trash bag back in it & handed it back. This must have been a trainee, because the person who registered us into the hotel immediately to the can & took care of the situation. The refrigerator had an opened container of alcohol in it & an overflowing catch tray. Looked like it was placed & left on the floor to defrost. My sister & I picked it up onto the counter where we could use it & cleaned up the water on the floor & now on the counter, plus cleaned the fridge. Good thing we brought rolls of paper towels. The alcohol was quickly dumped down the drain. The remainder of the stay was very good.

Room was clean and comfortable. Decor and furnishings are dated, but functional. Bathroom linens could be more plush.

I have been coming to this property for many years now and they have always been very nice and hospitable.

You could see the light through the door due to it not sealing properly. The wall that had the ac unit was bubbled and cracked. My shower had hair in it. The floors were not mopped and I had hair also in my wash clothes.

The beds were rock hard had to purchase a mattress cover for comfort. The carpets were dirty. The room itself was ok When we stayed there 6 years ago it was cleaner. Cheap price you get what you get.

Nothing fancy just a comfortable room. There's a small frig in the room and sitting are with a table. And plenty of hot water. Reasonable prices!

The mattress was very firm but I slept well. The clerk was kind and helpful and the room and area are very quiet! Looking forward to another stay when the pool is open!

I did not feel safe I slept on the door by the door in case someone tried to steal my car. No one in the office to check out just left the key . Very old and not really up dated . The management team were wonderful and friendly they also tried to help find something to eat when nothing was open or didn’t have the food. The whole town was sad

The room was not bad, the shower and tub need to be replaced, everything else seemed decent inside. The property is very old, could use some updating. Doesn’t feel like the best part of town, but then again, there’s not a whole lot in Iola

This time was even better than times before. Rooms wer in back side of the office and prefer them much better than the front ones.

Owners & staff were very gracious & extremely helpful!

Just was not Nice

Perfectly Adequate, At Door Parking, Neighborhood Felt Safe. Property condition was a bit distressed here and there like a bathroom door that would not latch but all was perfectly functional and clean. It wasnt worth a another $25 to go to a little bit nicer Super-8 for us.
