Old building with actual entrance moved farther down the street - a little confusing. Otherwise great place

Wonderful stay. I had a late check in after a wine tour. The friendly staff offered me a wine glass at check in. Room was nice and clean, with a wonderful outdoor table beside the courtyard.

Rooms are worn, carpets are faded. We moved rooms once because of a rattling air conditioning fan. We moved again when we came back and the second room smelt of sewage. That was a downgrade with a portable air conditioning unit in the room with a hose sticking out of the window. Hard to recommend.

Clean rooms, great staff, relative bargain. Just across the street from old town, one block to the train station. Recommended.

Very nice hotel! We loved our stay as it was close to the train station and lots to see within walking distance. Room was clean and spacious. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating!

We like being close to the Palace

The property is very dated and in desperate need of a renovation. Our room had very old carpet, chipped wall paint and moulding that was chipped and missing in places. The staff, however, were very pleasant and helpful. The cleaning staff did their jobs well.

Staff was friendly & helpful, though not all could speak English. Superior room was spacious & liked being on ground floor. Pool liked nice. Location was excellent, right next to central train station & bus station. Short walk to all the tourist attractions. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Room was good size. However no air con, difficulty finding parking garage and nothing to do in the area. We arrived early but no room ready or urgency to make the room available.

Super helpful reception. Adel in the reception helped us as good as he could to change traintickets that was booked the wrong day….

What a fabulous hotel. They upgraded us to a two room suite with a tub and a shower. TV in bedroom, TV in living room. Huge towels. It is located steps away from the train station (Not the TGV) so after our journey from Toulouse, very quick walk to total comfort. We have a pool so don't use that and soaking in the tub and showering in the lovely bathroom was delightful.

Good location, Rome is clean, good prices

It is in a great location, just a short walk from the train station as well as various excellent bars, cafes and restaurants. We booked a double room but were not expecting two queen size beds in a very spacious area which included a small living room complete with a sofa and table. The balcony was large with metal chairs and table but, in the sunshine with the temperature sometimes over 35 degrees, a parasol would have been nice. We found on arrival that the door to the balcony would not open but a call to reception produced a fix within only ten minutes. The breakfast choices are extensive but the quality is better than most hotels I have been in across Europe. I have been so used to the slightly industrial taste of orange juice in other hotels that I really appreciated the 100% fresh orange in this hotel - the machine literally squashes an orange for you and you can taste the difference. Without exception, the staff were friendly as well as highly professional. Overall, it offers great value for money and we would definitely go back to this hotel if we ever end up in Avignon again. One thing though: bring a bottle opener! The courtesy bottles of water in the mini bar on arrival had beer-bottle like tops. We didn't have a bottle opener. We soon bought one in Avignon but we encountered during our stay other guests heading for reception bearing unopened water bottles and bemused expressions.

Large and spacious rooms with air con, looking a bit tired but otherwise comfortable. Shower control manual so be careful. Only real grouse was the very poor WiFi. Had to move rooms because the first room wouldn’t connect at all, the replacement was better but still very inconsistent with slow speeds. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast and great location for the town and the railway station.
