Outside very noisy until 3 am, couldn’t sleep at all

Staff are professional and friendly. Food is delicious and price is amazing. One thing was unhappy: the hotels.com and this hotel were not flexible for the refund due to flight delay. I had to checkin one night later due to a 24-hour delay of AA127 02/12. If you could help to credit this night to my account, it would great. Expect you to work this out for your loyal customer. Thanks.

It is an older hotel that desperately need new renovations.

Room was dusty but staff was very helpful. You can see that most of them want to help despite the language barrier.

The building and infrastructure is old, and the wash basin is constantly blogged, but overall it is a hotel with good service.

The prices are great, very competitive and you get a great service. The rooms are clean and well layed out.

Very clean; convenient location; courteous staff. The only drawback is slight cigarettes smoke from some rooms that comes into the open space.

We did not stay the night of 06/18 and had Merry Hotel Shanghai (Ms. Meggy) noted 06/15. My hotel.com rep also sent a request for changing my stay from a new date. We are still waiting for your response, considering both hotel.com and Merry Hotel are willing to help in this case. We have been a loyal customer of both for a long time. Thanks.

It’s good hotel to stay in if you’re there on business. We were there for a wedding. The room was nice and spacious as well as clean. Everything was very well presented. My main issue was that housekeeping would knock on our door 3-4 times a day even though we had the do not disturb sign on.

Breakfast poor, air conditioning is working as they want and not what you set. The staff barely speaks English, those who should assist you with taxi, don't understand nothing and hope you will leave and not ask for their assistance Room is ok and location is great

Convenient and reasonable price. You don't get breakfast with the room though.
