Breakfast was free for a reason...... it was not very good unless you are boycotting bagels, English muffins , eggs and good coffee or unless you like Jamaican beef in the morning

Room furniture looked like it came out of the garbage from 1980s.. scratched and scraped wall unit was broken wooden in bottom corner. Drawers all scraped and old. Mold in shower. Was told no other rooms available. They cancelled checkin.

The odor in the room is not favorable, and there is a roach creeping in the bed.

Sadly what was once considered a clean safe neighbourhood has turned into a 3rd world dump.

The hotel was situated well - close to the universities. Rooms were comfortable. The suite had potential for a better kitchenette and the breakfast lacked enough options.

I arrived very late in the evening and was greeted by a warm, chatty woman. My trip had been stressful and she was just what I needed to feel welcome. When I needed help figuring something out she jumped up and was happy to assist me. She was like a breath of fresh air.

Kept spick and span. Housekeeping was very well maintained. Staff are courteous.

Property was very run down. Room was tired looking and filthy. Stains on carpet, peeling wallpaper, moldy ceiling, blood stains on couch. Sign on room door states that the deadbolt should be used, however the lock was broken. Screen in window was ripped out. Tv was in "display room" mode and would revert back to that mode after 1 minute.

There was no bottled water in the room, and no telephone to call front desk or housekeeping. I asked for bottled water, but they said there was none available that day. Also, the curtains were not blackout, so the room was too bright in the morning. Not very comfortable.

The staff was kind and helpful and friendly! The main problem was the property. My room had bugs , stained carpets. When I walked into the bathroom there was a poop smear stain on the bowl. I went to ask to change the room and it was sold out.. so the really amazing staff came in herself to clean it up. I have nothing absolutely nothing wrong to say about the staff. The location is just old and dirty.

No tvs both evenings

The staff are friendly and efficient. The room was dated, but clean. The property could certainly use a refresh but the rooms are large.
