Nice, clean room & very friendly staff, but the outside, on first impression, looked like it could do with a fresh lick of paint & tidy up. Great for a one night stop over though, at a good price & offering a reasonable breakfast in the morning.

Comfortable room with good facilities. Helpful staff BUY shower is in the bath not good for us oldies!

My husband and I have just experienced a dreadful night's stay in a hotel called Kyriad Angouleme Nord. We had numerous large 'garden bugs' (at least 30) dropping from the wooden ceiling all night! They have a hard shell exterior and we could hear them drop. We couldn't sleep and had to continuously evict them from the room through the patio doors. They crawled up the walls, across the table tops, on the bedding, on our case, into our luggage and our clothes. This is the most disgusting experience we have ever had in any hotel from hotels com. We are still searching our belongings even though we have checked out of the hotel. We reported the issue to the hotel staff and they were quite relaxed about it and knew they had a serious problem in the area. They said it was due to a very hot summer but it is now the first week of February and the problem still exists. We are horrified that a hotel in this condition is still functioning and being advertised on the hotels.com website. This is a serious human health issue and needs to be resolved immediately. The hotel needs to be closed until every room has been fumigated and cleared of these bugs. As this is a well known issue in the hotel, we are extremely unhappy that they did not contact us so we could go somewhere else whilst they resolved everything.

I didn’t like the smell in the room. Though it was quiet. Dated hotel. Friendly person at the front desk.

Motel style, super convenient mid budget hotel, air conditioned rooms, comfy bed, good size bathroom and good shower, safe with exceptional receptionist, excellent choice of restaurants nearby, quiet as just off motorway, perfect for a place to lay your head for the night, pleasantly surprised, rear shared courtyard with grassed grounds to escape the room, would recommend and would stay again. 24 hour check in although reception closed at 11 so would be automated machine if arrival after this time. Parking was right outside the room which was handy for transporting bags and feeling safe that the car was near, we only had 1 towel on arrival but this was quickly rectified by the receptionist, they offered breakfast but we opted for the local bakery as we always do.

Good hotel with friendly owners, bathroom was not too good as the ceiling was covered in mould and the tiles were rather grubby. Restaurant next door very small portions and quite pricey.

Is an passby hotel the place is good at this time is under remmodeling, the rooms smell goos and new.

An hotel very convenient for access to Angouleme, with restaurants and shops nearby.

Our room had an unfortunate smell which was unpleasant.

We were expected but had to wait some time for someone to come and open the door for us to book in. We were handed the controls for the fan and TV and sent round with a key and instructions to get into our room. Access was via one door with a code into a corridor then a normal key to open our room. The place is shabby and the no smoking room smelled of cigarette smoke .. A plus for the place was the next door restaurant where we had a very good meal. We would not stay there again

Ideal for use as a stopover. I liked the security of parking my fully loaded car outside my bedroom door. I also appreciated the quietness of the location, even though clos to major road links.

The hotel was clean and well located next to the Main RN10 however it is on the North bound side, most hotels are on the southbound side and the signs send you towards them. It is not close to the town and you will need to go into the commercial area to find food. The reception did not open until 6pm, the staff were friendly and helpful. There is a very handy petrol station that was well priced compared to the faster roads

Déplacement professionnelle, j’ai séjourné dans cet hôtel. Bien placé je trouve mais dommage qu’il soit vieillissant.

Super ! Et en terme de décoration tout est basé sur la BD ! Trop beau !

Chambre assez vieillotte, salle de bain qui ne donne pas envie de s’y laver… besoin d’un bon coup de rafraîchissement Service très bien et très bon petit déjeuner
