I would definitely stay at this resort again. The food was great and they had four pools which didn’t make it too crowded. The only downfall, you can’t get in the ocean because of the rough waves. You have to walk a ways on the beach to get to an area you can get in.

We’ve stayed at this resort multiple times and always had a great experience — it’s clean, relaxing, and the staff are friendly. Unfortunately, one lifeguard in Santafe white party 05/28 8:30 pm named “angel” consistently spoke to us in a rude tone and was unnecessarily aggressive about splashing, even when we were being careful. It didn’t ruin our trip, but it did stand out. Otherwise, everything was great and we’ll likely return.

From the moment we arrived, the RIU Palace in Cabo delivered an incredible experience. The food was absolutely top-notch—delicious, fresh, and with plenty of variety to please every palate. What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff. Every single team member we encountered was beyond friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help. They go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect—whether it’s remembering your favorite drink, helping with a special request, or just making you feel at home. If you’re looking for great service, amazing food, and a beautiful setting, this is the place to be.

We loved the Riu Palace!! There was always something going on that you could participate in if you wanted. The swim up bar was amazing. The only thing that was a bummer was we weren't able to eat at the Japanese restaurant or steak house. While on the website it says there could be a wait time, we didn't realize there would be a chance to not get in at all. Besides that, everything was amazing!!!!

Excellent stay at the hotel Rio Palace Cabo San Lucas. I highly recommend the private pool front Junior suites on ground level. Great value and what an amazing way to start the day. Most of the food was great but small menus at the specialty restaurants. All inclusive had incredible value. The only thing that I didn’t like was the transportation set up through Expedia. The hotel says something about a free shuttle, but that doesn’t exist and they don’t like to talk about it.

The staff looks so miserable and is just generally unhelpful. Don't expect to get a Royal treatment at this "Palace". In fact, just lower all your expectations. Although this is a massive complex from RIU and two of them literally share the same name, you apparently should not cross although fences/barriers between them are unlocked at all times and some of the restaurants literally have the same names and offerings. Getting ubers or ground transportation for our larger party who was split between the two properties was basically impossible. The beach is dangerous and inaccessible for swimming or bathing. The only place which has food 24/7, "the lounge", is nothing short of inedible and it looks like a purgatory. Wi-Fi is unusable. Little burst of data, but watching a movie was impossible. They failed to mention that we had an account for free wifi and then charged us for creating one "because we didn't use the one they gave us". If you would like to be mistreated by rude staff, you can also try to get a table for a larger group. In fact, the options available for that specific experience are almost unlimited. That's the one thing you can be sure is included.

This property was very nice and well-maintained. Everywhere we went there was someone cleaning something. There were plenty of choices of pools and activities in the resort and in the surrounding area. The breakfast was pretty good for an all-inclusive. I would say for dinner the buffet was OK and the specialty restaurants are probably not even worth going to. The service was top-notch; any server did not mind going out of their way for us. There are plenty of amazing restaurants nearby that we tried. We have been to many all-inclusive resorts and for the money this was a very good value. Just a mention regarding cats around the pool area, about 5 or 6 of them. They mostly did not bother us. Also, the beach is not swimmable. Taxis and uber were reasonable.
