Marcus and Demarcus were amazing - they moved our room away from the elevators upon request and without question, and were extremely kind and helpful! The bistro and restaurant are awesome - love the hours for the bistro, too! Ice cream in the gift shop is the best! Beautiful views, lovely decor, and all you could ask for in one location!

The views were beautiful however, our room was super hot, even with the “ac” going. I felt the rooms were very outdated for the nightly price, and the floor in our room was filthy. The staff were great though and the rest of the hotel looked rather clean as well.

We had a great stay here. The only thing is there is not much to do (walking) in the area. The downtown shopping was really minimal. We booked this property because it was within walking distance to the downtown. But again there was not much there. The grounds around the hotel is nice and they had a nice restaurant on the grounds (Lake House). The room was small but had everything we needed and was clean.

The food at the restaurant was wonderful. The service was abominable. We waited at least 15 minutes for a server, then a half hour for our drinks. Our food was served and was cold before the wine was served. Our hotel room was fine, but a little dirty. (Hairs and spiders in the bathroom.) For the price, this was not an ideal experience.

Room was great. Super quiet. Comfortable bed. Awesome location. Could have been a bit cleaner- please clean behind and beneath furniture. Overall would still recommend and will visit again.

The property is unique and charming. We absolutely loved our waterfront view and access to the Lake House restaurant next door. The only disappointment was the hotel Bistro. We hoped for a welcoming comfy vibe but it just felt small and a little neglected. This led me to knock the rating from 5 to 4 as the advertised space is misleading. All in all we loved our vacation and recommend a stay at Shoreline. We don’t have kids or animals but it appeared the pools and grounds would be excellent for both.

We liked that it was close to the Marina and the Express Ferry to Milwaukee. The staff were great! Check-in was a breeze. We had an issue with our deadbolt lock not working. The staff person came up to the room and looked at it. He put in an order to have it fixed. He told us someone fixed it, but he didn't (I guess that staff person wasn't great). The door was a bit squeaky, also. We had a great dinner at the Lake House and a very nice breakfast experience the next morning at the hotel Bistro.

I thought this was going to be an upscaled stay but it was a very 'tired' hotel. Things were outdated and not maintained very well. My AC unit could only be turned down a few degrees and it was so loud, I could hardly sleep. The staff was very kind and friendly.

The hotel, grounds, pool, rooms, and view are beautiful!

Everyone was very nice. The breakfast was delicious and the bar staff was so friendly. We needed a few more towels and coffee and they were very prompt with getting these for us. We walked around the area and was very enjoyable.

The staff was very nice. Restaurant next door had great food and excellent food. The room was in desperate need of updating and remodeling. Water damage, horrible cheap shower that’s been patched, ceiling in bathroom coming down, dirty and smells. More noise than we’ve ever experienced. Did not sleep! Was one of the worst stays we’ve had. If there was going to be a Harley convention in town this should’ve been mentioned at booking time.

Nice older building, but the furniture showed it's age. People in the room next door were EXTREMELY LOUD - unsupervised kids. I talked to the front desk about them TWICE (which I normally never do) and they were not much help. They finally quieted down after 11pm, but by then we really couldn't enjoy our stay. Left early in the morning to catch the ferry, so no problems in the am. The front desk staff were friendly, but not super helpful. The balcony view was fabulous, but not worth all the trouble with the "neighbors"

Really beautiful room. The only complaint is that the balcony had dozens of orb spiders at dusk so he couldn't open the balcony doors overlooking the lake at night.

Hotel is outdated. Rooms were tiny. We had to switch rooms after our first room had a broken bed. Our second room had a couple other broken things in it (desk chair, fridge shelves…etc) lots of spiders outside the window, overall looks nice on the outside, but the inside needs major re-vamping.
