Loved the on property hike and swimming pool with bar.

Loved the spacious room and outdoor private shower space. Enjoyed the beautiful grounds and hiking trails. Food was excellent. Staff very friendly.

The only concern I had during my stay was that there were some issues with the flow of water from the bathroom sink. Sometimes the flow would be very minimal. The shower drain often clogged, so you would be standing ankle-deep in the shower water. Otherwise, the restaurant was great and the view of the volcano from our room was beautiful! The room was clean and staff were friendly.

We loved Lost Iguana! This is our second trip to Costa Rica and our first to the Arenal Volcano area. The hotel grounds were lovely and very close to the Hanging Bridges. We booked a full day tour (bridges, volcano, waterfall) and spent the other two days hanging out at the pool/pool bar. We ate at the hotel restaurant for most of our meals and thought it was good and the price was reasonable. The breakfast buffet was also great. The hotel trail was also great (takes about 45 minutes). Be prepared to walk a lot of hilly terrain!

This property is gorgeous, and very tastefully designed nestled into the jungle with amazing views.

We loved being in the jungle and this resort definitely felt like we were one with nature!

Wonderful location for a family stay around Arenal volcano. Extremely nice staff and just far enough off the beaten path to avoid crowds while still being close to it all.

The view from our room was stunning. We sat in comfortable rocking chairs with beautiful flowers in the foreground and the volcano in the background.

Beautiful hotel facing the mountain. The pictures do not do justice to this property. It also has a hot pool which makes you not want to go the other hot springs.

Everyone in the property was very friendly. Love the place but just be prepared for bugs! 🙂 Guess that’s everywhere in La Fortuna.

This was one of our favorite hotels as we traveled through Costa Rica. The view from the room was incredible of the Arenal volcano and it was set in the rainforest. We woke up to seeing toucans flying around not far from our balcony. The location was a perfect for all of our activities of La fortuna. We would love to stay here again in the future if in the area.

The property and everything around it was absolutely gorgeous and well kept. I’ve never seen a more friendly and willing to help staff.

The jungle trail on the property is wonderful. A definite bonus. Breakfast was very good. Great way to begin the day.

Transportation within property was good.Food was not good,30mins away from Lafortuna downtown limited pool,overall experience was ok

This was one of the best stays I’ve ever had. The staffs went above and beyond of us! The rooms were extremely clean amazing views. The staff helped booked all the tours for us with transportation included. I would come back in a heart beat! The can’t not recommend this place enough! Loved everything about Costa Rica and Lost Iguana.
