This was our second visit to Buena Vista Resort. The first time was 15 years ago. The resort has been upgraded nicely. The staff was amazing both trips. The owners are anazing.

Property need a lot upgrade the mattress was dirty with a hole also no tv in the rooms .

Anything that you cannot access immediately, the hotel will help you with what you need.

Best in the Baja

Very relaxing setting in classic hotel with beautiful gardens, great pool, delicious food, and friendly service. The hot spring water is soft and soothing. Clean swim-able beaches with all the amenities.

That I liked is, everything was available, so, my responses and inquiries were resolved right away. What I don't liked is, room hasn't tv, phone, small refrigerator and security box.

The food was outstanding, the staff was the best, I’ve been many places in Mexico. Hands down great people. Lovely stay. 👍😊❤️

Loved this place so much! The rooms are small and a little dated and no fridge but since the restaurant on site was so good and fair priced it wasn't much of an issue. The food and drinks are excellent. The beach is empty and peaceful. Water is super safe for swimming. You can even feel the hot spring water in the sand on the shoreline. Amazing. Will for sure stay here again

A rundown property. Food choices were very good, service was friendly. Location : beach front property. Our room 36 was old n parts of it dirty n dusty (hasn’t been cleaned properly ie. dusty on the overhead bed board, behind the desk was some small food scraps n dead insects, dust bunnies.) The washroom was old n needs updates. It was clean.

If you’re looking for perfect, this is not your place. If you want a relaxing quiet vacation with the odd imperfection then this is your place! The staff is amazing, the food is fantastic. Overall it’s quiet and relaxing with your standard amenities. We would definitely come back.

Lovely spot beautiful beach and pool and nice uograded room with little fridge. Food was delicious. We had a car so drove into Los barrilos and todo santos la Paz Santiago etc all from there on day trips.

the spa

The property is on a natural hot spring so warm water is always available. The restaurant has very good food and speciality taco tuesdays and barBQ night Thursdays. They are in the process of renovating and upgrading the rooms but it is a very cute and quaint older resort that should keep its amazing feel but work in the need repairs to allow it to use all of its rooms and facilities.

This hotel is very dated but charming in its own way. Good pool and beach. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The place has a ton of potential! Is it 5*, no. It is beautiful in its own accord, absolutely! They have some work to do and they are working on it. The pool is amazing! The hot tub is great (watch the filling times for heat dont get burnt!) The staff is top notch. Super friendly and helpful. They will go out of thier way to help if they can. The place has character, the parts that are operational are great. The forage is pretty, the property is small and cozy. The beach is vast and beautiful but they need come beach loungers. The food is excellent albiet a bit pricey. The beds are okay, if you like a hard bed you'll love it. The wifi is very slow! You'll need to rely on your cell data or go with out interent during your stay. An amazing location and although not perfetc, higly recommend, especially if you get a good price on the room.

Fabulous stay. The pool, hot tub, bathrooms and ocean, yes ocean, are all heated by natural hot springs. The ocean part is an experience. You walk to the waters edge, sit in the sand and dig a hole with your hands and feet about a foot deep and hot water comes up. Awesome. Dinner and breakfast fantastic. The property is older, everything else makes up for this charming friendly easy resort. Will return.

Staff were wonderful, the hot tub of mineral water was superb, the pool a bit chilly but delightful. Their taco Tuesday is not to be missed. And the beach is gorgeous and clean, with nice lounging furniture. The only odd note is the parts of the property that are in a state of decay— a convention center, another pool and hot tub that are decommissioned.
