What a lovely visit. The staff were friendly and restaurant was lovely. We only ate breakfast there.

Clean room, friendly staff, good breakfast options. Nicely decorated breakfast room. However our room in the attic of floor 3 and lift only went to floor 2, which made it slightly difficult to move luggage. Room was slightly dated and small. Bathroom was very cramped. But was handy to get to the airport

Very poor welcome at check in for the first 2 people in our group surely and demanding payment. Booked months ago then receive e mail no bar restaurant available as staff on holiday. No discount for loss of facilities. Room too hot no AC, Carpet was literally thread bare. Looked amazing when booked but not the case.

Beautiful place in typical style for the area.

Gorgeous hotel, it was hot (and smelt like a sauna due to the wooden room :) ) when we arrived at midnight, but it had massive windows to open. Had a junior suite I think, with 2 bedrooms, living area & big bathroom. Only downside would have been a kettle/drinks, but everything else was great, with a lovely breakfast spread

Sehr freundliche willkommen geheissen. Tolle landestypsiche Unterkunft. Nachtessen im Hotel. Der Zwiebelbraten war der HAMMER! Schönes Hotel, tolles Frühstücksbuffet. Sehr freundliche Bedienung.

Dejlig morgenbuffet med venlig betjening. Værelset rent og pænt og varmt - så vinduerne skulle stå åbne. Restauranten ikke noget særligt. Så jeg spiste der kun den første aften. Desværre ryges der en del udenfor på balkoner og ved hovedindgangen. Røgen trængte ind i værelset…

The property staff is excellent. There is no real dining available at the property except for Breakfast. Plus it is not available on Monday and Tuesday as the restaurant is closed. There is another restaurant directly opposite one block which provides Italian cuisine mainly and is open till 9 pm for the last kitchen order. The room provided was nice but claustrophobic with minimal ventilation and a small sit out with no view and could not be opened. We liked the quaint location and the very helpful and friendly receptionist.

I decided to book this for an impromptu trip, and I was not disappointed! Wonderful from the moment I walked into the door until I left. There is a restaurant onsite, which is very tasty. The views from the rooms are to die for. The only thing I can think of that was even slightly negative (which it really wasn't) was the bed was a little more firm than I am used to. Some people might enjoy that - it just took me a night to adjust to compared to my bed at home. I am already looking to book again for a family trip!

This was one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. From the ornate exterior to the finely furnished hallways and bedrooms wrought in finely carved wood. Against the backdrop of the Tyrolean mountains and the quaint village of Zirl, this hotel is a must if you’re in the area. Plus, the in-house restaurant, Restaurant Maximilian, was absolutely exquisite—Try the beef tartare, treat yourself!

Cozy accommodations, very clean. Would have liked to have a coffee maker in the room but otherwise it was great.

Photos didn’t show old and non-renovated units, we found out that our unit is not renovated when we got there. We had to pay €100 to upgrade to a renovated unit that matched the pictures shown on Expedia.
