We really enjoyed our time at this lodge. We took our grandson. We enjoyed swimming in the lake and the pool. We rented bikes and went for a short bike ride on the nearby trail. Our accommodation was clean and comfortable. Very nice sheets and towels and the beds were comfy. We were able to cook some meals in our small kitchen. As other people have pointed out, the place could use a bit of sprucing up. We decided to try the breakfast buffet one morning. It's expensive and not good at all. I didn't realize how much it would cost. My advice is to skip it and eat in your room or go somewhere else.

Old hotel but well maintained. The restaurant on site is amazing, as are Roberto the maitre d’hôtel (sommelier) and the creative bartender. Food is great, presentation sophisticated. The Brie with apple as entree is highly recommended. The 20 meter pool is appealing. I would recommend though that it opens at 6am instead of 9am, so that ppl who love to swim laps such as myself can easily do this before families with kids take over at 9 am. A sink was clogged I flagged it to the staff but in the 4 days of my stay, nobody came to fix it. The beach at lake Ouimet is inviting and lovely to swim in. I had taken a suite with lake view that had a balcony. The balconies are one next to the other. The hotel has put up signs of non smoking as required by law. The biggest downside is that ppl constantly smoked cigarettes and pot on their balconies. I flagged it to the staff who said they would send someone but nothing was done about it. That’s the main reason of my average review score. It’s unfortunate that you have to keep your windows closed and cannot sit on the balcony because of the overwhelming smell.

I had asked for a lake facing room and they dared to offer me a lake facing room which had a broken balcony. When I complained they offered me an upgrade but the room was not lake facing. The stay was good but I was not happy with the service as they offered me room knowing that it had a broken balcony railings.

Upon entering Le Grant Lodge, my 2 friends and I were so impressed by the log cabin atmosphere with the real fireplaces in the lobby. Our suites had everything that we needed and we were told that we could call Housekeeping for anything else that we might need. We each had the lakeside view, a kitchenette, a Murphy bed, 2 bathrooms, a fireplace, a living room.

Booking anything in April at Tremblant is considered the low season so be prepared to experience lower rates and lower traffic. We came to soak and enjoy Spa Scandinavia deciding to stay at Le Grand Lodge because other places we had been to before didn’t appeal. The lodge may not have had a restaurant open nor a bar but we had the whole place to ourselves as there was maybe a total of 10 people there. The pool is pristine and the hot tub hot. The steam room was working in the men’s dude but the women’s side was not so we enjoyed the outside barrel sauna. The room was clean and the view looked out at the lake. My girlfriend enjoyed doing Yoga and I enjoyed skiing. We will be back again.

The hotel is wonderful - convenient location close to the ski slopes, nice pool and spa, great staff. It was too warm for skating but we will go back next winter to try that!

I love staying at the Grand Lodge. Been going for years. Its showing some signs of aging, which is sad - nevertheless its still solid. The rooms are large, with kitchenette, separate bedroom etc. Good for families, especially with all our skiing gear (good storage etc..). The lobby bar is fun, kids can hang out there too and have shirley template, play board games as a family. However the service was very slow (1.5 hours to get our food), they were definitely short staffed for a friday night. The brunch breakfast was fabulous - good variety for everyone. The pool area and hot tub was crowded, and there needs to be renovations (paint pealing in spots). The outdoors saunas were neat. I liked that there was a ski rental / shop right on site, and discovered the skating trail right outside the property which is very neat. Overall, its a good place for a family weekend getaway - relaxed environment where you don't feel ackward walking around in ski gear, yet still has a elegant feel to it.

Fun ski week at Le Grand lodge. 25 year old property is in good condition but could use some updates. The staff is outstanding and this is a great place for families. Shuttle to skiing and much less $ than pedestrian village. Ice skating in the woods was fantastic!!
