It's a beautiful location, and the lodge overall is a comfortable, nice place to spend some time, but they fail at the finer points for the price point. The room was dingy, smelled like dog, and the bed sagged terribly. The food was okay, but not what I would expect for nearly $40 an entree, and service was slow and lackluster. The pool was nice, but so full of people that it couldn't be enjoyed. The hot tub was supposed to be 18+ after 6 p.m., but clearly wasn't enforced so it was full of families (which is totally cool, but why have the rule?!). In general it just felt less polished than properties at comparable price points. That side, it's very relaxing and the "Backyard" area is really nice with spectacular views. It's clear they are very family-friendly, which is wonderful, but for what they charge I would expect more.
