The room was small. The shower tray filled with water. Breakfast ok for 3 star. AC good

Overall our stay was good, the rooms were average size, bathroom could be a little bit bigger, pool was clean and nice , breakfast was very nice, except for the coffee which was very light, otherwise a good variety for breakfast,would stay here again

Location of the hotel was good and it had a pool which was useful on windy days and unusual for the area. The food at breakfast was very repetitive, however it was nice to have fresh yogurt and honey. At dinner, no soft drinks or water were provided which is the first time we’ve ever encountered this on a half board package. If we wanted water, we had to buy a 500 ml bottled water for 1€ which was 25 cents in local stores. The room was a nice and beds were made everyday, although linen and towels could have been changed more often. Not all staff were friendly and made us feel uncomfortable at times.

The room was basic and a little dated, although the bathroom had been upgraded and was very nice. I was disappointed there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Pool and restaurant were both lovely. Breakfast choices were excellent and varied. All in all a great stay.

Pool is good, rooms are clean, it's a bit dated and showing it's age, some repairs are needed, shower tap fell off, airco rattles, bannisters are badly fixed, broken tiles. Some staff are sometimes very rude.

Nice pool, good position. Good breakfast. However, the room is very small and the airconditioning was stinking. All in all good value.

The hotel is close to the beach. The hotel has own parking area. There is an elevator in the hotel. The rooms were clean, the staff was very nice. The breakfast and the dinner was tasty. This hotel was good choice for us. I recommend it for visiting Matala.

Very clean & bright hotel only 7 minutes walk away from Matala beach. Helpful staff, nice pool & great Cretan entertainment on the Saturday night made this a very pleasant 2 night stay. Breakfast was provided too

Was charged on my card even before I checked in, resulting in me incurring unnecessary charges. Very Simple room, without water provided. For a short walk to matala Bay as the only benefit.

Nice enough hotel. A bit worn down but served its purpose gallantly. Nice and friendly staff and a really good breakfast buffet. I can recommend a stay.

Didn't see anyone at the front counter our whole stay. Only saw one person in the night but he said he was a friend of the owner. They left the keys to the room on the counter. Hotel felt unattended but overall the rooms were nice and everything worked out. Washroom smelt like seweage from the drain had to cover it with the garbage can.

They let us book in early 10.30 am,it is out of season! Got to our room and could hear other people talking in the rooms both sides !,toilet flushing etc. The hotel is a German holiday company destination,not as we have any problems with that. The shower is very small with a curtain that sticks to you !. I always like to book breakfast with my stay and I noticed I could not see this on my booking with Expedia . As this is my first booking with Expedia and I constantly kept pressing ( breakfast) it wasn't registered on my booking. So in the morning I went to reception and the manager says yes you have breakfast,proceed downstairs,excellent we thought,and a reasonable breakfast was had ! We even paid for a extra night and on leaving the manager informs us we owe the hotel a cheap price for the breakfasts. Not so cheap.

Overall the hotel was good value for money. Staff are friendly. Did feel the the pool maintenace could be a bit better. Broken steps on the way to the pool. We enjoyed our stay there but it does fall a bit short of a recommendation from us.

It was clear from previous reviews that the majority of the clientele were European. Unfortunately this meant that a number of the, surprisingly, younger staff appeared to have difficulty when it came to either speaking or understanding English. Whilst this in no way detracted from our overall holiday it was irritating when trying to order drinks or snacks from the bar, especially as they appeared to be fluent in German, French and Polish. Beautiful town with wonderful sunsets.
