The uniqueness of the decorations and the room was great. The mexican restaurant was very good as well.

Great little jewel tucked away in downtown Ely. We loved the old time atmosphere blended with the modern amenities. The pet friendly rooms are Rocco and Rosie approved, from the decor, the welcome treats, to the comfy pet bed.

Clean, modern room, comfortable beds and good coffee

Checking in was very good but the next morning we discovered the drain in the bathtub was letting water back up 6 to 8 inches deep. I informed the maid to contact maintenance. Later we returned to the room to discover the maid failed to clean the room except halfway making the bed and leaving two towels. The garbage was not taken out and the tub was not cleaned and the coffee service had not been replaced. I complained to the front desk about the drain and service but nothing was done. The next day was not much better. The drain still was still letting water back up and coffee service wasn't replaced again and the sheets were obviously dirty but didn't get replaced. The restraunt in the hotel had good food but was crooked. Order a Taco salad for $13 and then they asked what kind of meat you want in it. What they don't tell you is they charge another $14 for the meat. So $27 for a Taco salad? Turns out they did this add on for lots of stuff. Crooks from the word go.

Great rooms with good bed. Mexican rest very good & service great. The rooms are large and have all the eminities. Frig, microwave, safe, large flat screen, coffee maker. Would definitely stay here again & recommend.
