We had a wonderful two-night stay at the Woodstock. Our room was lovely - and absolutely spotless. Kim, the owner, is a kind and welcoming person. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. We will absolutely stay here again if we go back to the Kansas City area.

Amazing!!! We spent our first night of our honeymoon there and we plan on coming back next year!

I’ve never stayed at a B&B but this one is beautiful, it’s clean and nice and quiet. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve slept on.

It is always a treat to come here. I do a staycation about once a month. Wonderful hospitality, always baked goods for nibbling. A lot of free drinks available. The different themes for each room adds to the "get away" aspect. Always nice. Breakfasts are pretty awful as it doesn't seem like anyone knows how to cook. I would avoid it and go out to eat. Some of the rooms needs some TLC...mostly nitpicky areas. The place is showing its age a bit.

The décor, cleanliness and friendly staff at the property are superb. As only the 2nd B&B I have ever stayed in, my observations are probably not the best to compare with. But it was very clean and fresh and that's a big plus. The breakfast wasn't over the top, but was good and got our day going. Sarah was very helpful and accommodating, very friendly and always had a smile.

Very clean room and house!! The ladies were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious every morning. The bed was VERY comfortable. My daughter and I have decided this is our first choice for a place to stay in the future.

I highly recommend staying at the Woodstock Inn! It is such a warm and cozy stay. I was in the Greece Room, and it was so beautifully decorated. I had a quick trip into Independence for the night. My flight arrived late, and Sarah was incredibly helpful to make sure that I could easily access my room. I also had an early morning for work before they typically serve breakfast. Sarah so generously prepared a breakfast ahead of time and left it for me in the refrigerator. The service was incredible.

Nice comfortable stay. In our opinion breakfast needs to be served before the middle of the morning, 9:00 am. Also would be nice to have regular tv with live network stations.

We stayed here one night due to close proximity to Arrowhead arena. Sarah was kind enough to call us for an estimated time of arrival & said that a key could be left out for us to assist with early check in. Unfortunately that did not happen so we arrived to a locked door & when we called she said that someone must have taken our key. To make it short, upon arrival it was determined that although Sarah had called me to confirm arrival, the key they put out had the wrong name on it (& this was gone when we arrived). We also let her know we had to depart at 7am and then found out the breakfast is served at 9am & 10am. She was kind enough to pack breakfast for us to go although some of the items were exited & the majority of fruit was inedible as it was rotten. I did find the space welcoming & although the Riveria room spacious & with a comfortable bed I am not sure it was worth the $299/night price tag for family of 3.
