Please don’t go. It’s dirty and expensive. Not a good place.

como comentario constructivo hay dos cosas que me gustaría compartir: el lugar de disco o bar nocturno estaba en muy malas condiciones, hediondo a cloro, no tenía ambiente, aburrido, y feo por dentro, no daban ganas de estar ahi. segundo, hicimos una reserva en el restaurant mediterráneo, si bien la comida estaba rica, la experiencia pésima, horrible todo rápido, ninguna explicación de los platos, tampoco amabilidad, no lo recomiendo para nada, de hecho fuimos despues a comer al comedor principal

Need to take better care of property

There were three cockroaches in my room, the dining is limited, people were eating inside the pool. Horrible. Not at 5 star for sure.

This is a very limited resort.. the infrastructure is old, AC did not work as expected, ants in room, worst WIFI ever, dinning is just fine. The pool area is good, but you cannot rely only on that to rate a complete stay experience. The beach is beautiful but unusable as it's part of a natural reserve. No beach bar or infrastructure is allowed, plus water is full of jellyfish so if you go with kids, you wouldn't want that experience (my 3 years old daughter was stung by one). Service and staff deserves it's own paragraph. First of all, the general MOOD going around could be better described as "ANGER". Staff is angry working there (not sure if they are tired of turism or very bad payed). On the other hand, the staff is ONLY prepared for BRAZILIANS.. if you speak spanish, super slow or a mixture between portuguese and spanish (which is sometimes the only alternative) they all respond in a very rude way. They are RUDE to any turist that's not brazilian. JUST FYI Entertainment is good but very local.. even with kids entertainment that is ONLY handled in portuguese. Oh, one more thing. If you go with kids, keep in mind you'll walk long distances.. but not too bad.

It’s not 5 star hotel, let’s be realistic more like 2-3 star . Rooms are old and outdated (25 years ago ) , beds are stiff and horrible . No shampoos & continioners, no toiletries. No AC in hotel .. it’s uncomfortable to dine in the restaurants with heat .. food - horrible. Kitchen chefs have no clue what they are doing , they can not even make pica or rice . Restaurants it’s a joke .. same bad quality food , no service no idea what they are doing here . Staff super rude and seems that they don’t want to work. Swimingpool- nobody checks cleanness , or monitor what people are doing there .. people bring food and drinks to the swimingpool - imagine higiene when they get drunk and spill they cocktails and wash theirs hands in the water after food … Room service - doesn’t exist , you might get lucky if they make your bed sometimes and wipe the floor . The only benefit of this hotel is beach and weather. We are not staying again in this hotel ..

Segunda vez que nos hospedamos aqui e a qualidade diminuiu muito. Poucos funcionários, a comida deixou a desejar, e nem as toalhas trocam mais, mesmo quando pedimos. Poucas atividades para crianças e adultos e Wi-Fi que não funciona.

I didn’t like the room, it needs repair and paint. Also they put extra bed without a request on a small room. I loved the cuisine, chef Robson at the main buffet and the Restaurant INEVITÁVEL was fantastic. Very elegant and they celebrated my daughter’s birthday with a cake and champagne. We had a great experience over all.

I loved the property. It was clean and the employees were polite.

Wonderful resort but not in every aspect. Staff polite and helpful. Beautiful big pool and drinks served 24h/day. Comfortable chalés. The only complaint was the food, very little flavor, undercooked risottos, overcooked meats and even the desserts were just ok (they looked beautiful but they were not delicious). We had stayed previously in Vila Gale Cumbuco and Mares didn’t have the same food quality. We would love to come back again if they improve the restaurant quality.

Passei uma semana nesse resort, com esposa e filha bebê, além de um casal de familiares. Gostamos bastante! Acho que merece ser reconhecido o esforço do hotel para continuar prestando um atendimento bom e seguro durante a pandemia, apesar da necessidade de adaptação por parte de muitos hóspedes. A praia estava com água viva, mas a piscina nos serviu perfeitamente!

Good despite the extremely hot swimming pool, average beer and same same buffet. Hotel infra, service and accommodation were great otherwise.

Lugar muito lindo , comida exelente , acesso a praia por dentro do resort , a unica coisa que eu nao gostei muito é a qualidade das bebidas quentes tipo , vodka, whisky pelo fato de ser open bar essa bebidas são mais baratas entao a qualidade delas é baixa , mas eles fazem bebidas deliciosas com varias frutas tropicais . Eu super recomendo esse resort. .

Fantastic location. Food out of this world. Only a few staff speak English. Lack of health and safety when it rains -lots of slippery wet floors.

The location was great. A couple of the employees were real gems. The food at the reservation restaurants was really good. The food st the buffets was ok only. I didn’t like the fact that there was no concierge to help customers but alas most Brazilian hotels don’t.

All inclusive hotel catering more for Brazilian customers. Pool and beach area were great. Rooms large but dated with worn mattresses needing replacement. Rooms and public areas were kept clean. Variety of food options available from 5am until 3am, which means you will put on a few pounds staying here. beers, soft drinks and variety of cocktails. Nice clean beach. Staff generally friendly however no English spoken, luckily I speak some Portuguese. Negative for me was being vegetarian and limited option. Also cross contamination with vegetables being cooked on same grill as meat items. Chefs should be more knowledgeable on vegetarianism, even though the resort is in a big meat eating country.

We had to check out a day early because of illness. The food was not good. Most of the time the food was cold. We could not make reservations for restaurants. We were assigned a king size bed, but we received two twins punched together and kept falling out. We requested they give us one bed but the request was never acknowledged. There was a torn hammock on out balcony. It would of been nice to have a functioning hammock. I was told that it would be a shuttle bus to take us to the airport witch was a hour and half way from the resort ones I got there they said that We had to pay 200 reals per person. We end up paying $190 Uber ride. Very unfortunately. We had a spa day the staff didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Overall it was more of a family gathering place. No action far away from everything and the surrounding point of interest. Definitely over priced. I just hope and pray that we can file a claim with CheapTickets and at least get the last day the we had to check out early. Definitely a learning experience. Blessed and grateful to be home alive.

It was an amazing experience for my family, very nice place with a lot of amenities for children, security is not an issue

The staff were very friendly. They speak little to no English, but try to be very helpful. Nice family oriented facility. Very safe. Has a variety of activities. But could use more activities for teenagers.
