Staff was excellent and went out of the way to help us. Beds were comfy and the rooms were really clean. Area is quiet and safe. The free breakfast was nice.

Services was great. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly. Quite area. Felt safe.

Not bad but not great. Had everything we needed for a 1 night stay, but nothing special. There was a wet spot around the edge of the carpet at the entry to the bathroom. Not sure if something spilled before we got there or if it was from a leak, or something else, but wet carpet is never a great sign of cleanliness. Would probably not stay here again.

Lovely hotel!

Room was clean and enjoyed the hot breakfast. Staff mentioned it was going to be discontinued next month and I am sorry to hear that.

Love this hotel, first time here and will definitely be back, breakfast was good, just wish they had more protein but other then that place was nice

No comment - will not stay again

We have stayed here at the Masterpiece 3 times now... 2 in the Penthouse and this time we stayed in the hot tub room. The rooms are fantastic, clean and very nice. The hot tub was Fantastic! Its not like your normal hot tubs, no water jets and no water intake... seemed like it blew air... it was awesome! The wife and I (and we are not small folks) fell asleep together in the hot tub... it was so nice. My only gripe is that the beds are too hard. Other than that... this place is fantastic.

Room smelled. Couch was horrible. Heater when started made loud Noice all night. Not keeping up with the property. I cannot believe people rated this hotel an excellent.

Nice and quiet, snug and peaceful.

Clean, comfortable bed, awesome hot spa, Good continental breakfast.. They even provide car winshield clean equipments for tracellers.

We were only there for an overnight stay, but the room was very comfortable and the amenities were good. I just wish the spa was open later than 9 pm! Glad I got to enjoy it the next morning before we left, though; it was relaxing and rejuvenating after all the walk-in and hiking I’d done in the several days leading up to our stay. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. Great value and would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful hotel! The art-filled hallways make you feel like you're walking through a gallery. Our room was clean, comfortable, and cozy. We especially appreciated the porcelain mugs and real glassware instead of plastic. Plus, the short walk to the shore is a wonderful bonus!

I stayed 3 days. No AC in room. I found 1 roach walking in my room. So sad. I’m not coming to this hotel anymore.

Pretty nice and walking distance to Morro Bay. Easy check in . Recommrnded this place😊

Hotel was cool staff was not

This is a beautiful place to stay. Staff is nice, breakfast was good. Loved the Art in the halls. Only one issue I have is that it is not quiet one bit, you can hear the people upstairs flushing their toilet, talking and walking back and forth. It is loud! Didn’t sleep well at all. Will stay again, despite the noise. It’s hard to find a place at a great price, close to where I need that is clean with a nice breakfast and nice staff.

Clean and comfortable, also has character. Loved the art on display and the "Roman Tub"!

We enjoyed our stay. The property was nice, clean, and quiet. The room was large and had a small balcony and fireplace. It was convenient for us to get to Cal Poly SLO and much less expensive than the hotels in SLO. It was also much nicer than some of the places we’ve stayed in SLO.
