Good location, handy for shopping and night life, clean comfortable recently renovated room at a reasonable price, apart from the construction next door no complaints.

The staff was incredible. The building is nice. The room got the job done. Great bathroom. Noisy AC unit. The area around the inn isn’t ideal. That’s not their fault though. As far as the stay goes, it was lovely.

We arrived early morning and they said our room is ready and available but there is extra fee for early check-in! Which doesn't make sense!

The staff was very nice and helpful. They clearly wanted to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The inn itself was cute and anything anyone would need who wants to stay downtown.

The staff are very friendly and nice and the place is clean and affordable. The surrounding area is not so nice. The is clearly not the fault of the establishment. It seems as if Toronto, like many cities, is dealing with unsheltered individuals with drug problems. I saw a lot of that while driving to the location. They are not on the block, but there is a concentration of that issue about five blocks away.

The hotel was lovely, very clean, and the staff very professional. It was in close proximity to things we were in Toronto for, if you don't mind a bit of a walk. Would definitely stay here again!

Location is near Cabbagetown and the Village. Great value for money, clean, quiet, and safe.

The staff made the stay exceptional. We were greeted upon entry, felt welcome, room was clean and comfortable.

Good for the price

nice place, very quiet and easy access to the bus line. My only concern (as a firefighter) was doors to the second floor chocked open which would contribute to serious smoke spread in case of a fire.

Beautiful old building wonderfully restored and renovated into a uniquely charming place to stay. Convenient for walking, easily commuted to the city and transit hubs. The staff was friendly and my partner and I have already decided we will be booking here again for next years trip 😁

Good service but you pay for what you get. Recommend if you are on a budget. Overall was OK.

This is my second time staying at the Pembroke Inn. It is a good hotel and has good amenities. The price is low for Toronto and within walking distance to a lot of places. The room was ok and had some good amenities. The lobby was nice and always had free coffee which was great. The staff is amazing and go out of their way to meet your expectations. They make the hotel great. The only downside to this hotel (and it is not the hotels fault at all) but the street it is on is not very inviting. I know there is nothing they can do about it. There are unfavourable people hanging out on the street. I guess this is a Toronto problem. Once inside the hotel though I always felt very safe. I will definitely stay there again if I have to go to Toronto in the future.

Quaint lodging with a very friendly and helpful staff. Maybe not in the most convenient part of town but not far enough removed that local city tranportation wasn't sufficient to easily get around. Enjoyed the stay!

En general aceptable.

Quiet and clean stay in downtown Toronto on a budget. The location was very walkable to restaurants, night life, transit and parks. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. I travelled here with a friend to see a concert in town. We stayed for three nights and would stay here again. Some of the reviews on here stated that the area was a bit dicey but we had no issues at all walking back during the day or night. There are interesting characters in any major city in the downtown area so it was nothing out of the ordinary. If you’re looking for something simple, quiet and with great service in downtown Toronto, stay here!
