We enjoyed our stay at this older, but well maintained hotel. It is located lakefront right by the ferry docks which makes it very convenient for those with limited mobility and for those with luggage and don’t want to struggle with it on the cobblestone streets. It also has an elevator/ lift. Despite the location near the docks, we were never disturbed at all by noise. The hotel has air conditioning and a lovely breakfast. The staff is wonderful - always pleasant and most accommodating. We enjoyed the selection of restaurants close by, as well.

Excellent location, staff were friendly, room was quite small. Wall were very thin, we could hear everything the neighbours were doing. It was supposed to be a side lake view, but there was a huge tree blocking line of sight.

For a 3 star hotel, this is top tier. Everything you need, closest to the lake you'll get and the bed has so far been the best during my Italy trip. It is a bit dated, but that's expected and acceptable. The price is moreso the luxury of proximity than facilities. The breakfast was as good as a 5 star hotel. Would go here again if in Malcesine.

The location is perfect. And my only concern is that the room is not air conditioned. A fan would have solved the problem. It was wonderfully cool at night but, during the day, quite muggy, even with open windows.

Hotel Malcesine was really lovely, right on Lake Garda near to the ferries and lots of places to eat. Staff were friendly and room was OK. Local shops nearby too.

Breakfast was limited and poor quality. The beds were not very comfortable and the hotel interior is dated. However, it is in a great location in Malcesine old town, right next to the dock, and our room had lovely views over Lake Garda from our balcony. It was also reasonably priced.

It was clean and the service was great. The dinner at the restaurant was lovely. Would def stay there agai.

We had a fantastic stay here, the staff across the hotel are absolutely fantastic, always friendly and Super helpful a true credit to the hotel. The hotel is in a perfect location, close to everything around the town and right on the lake, the food for breakfast has enough choice as to not be too much. The room we stayed in (324) was a pretty standard size room with a great view of the cobblestone streets below, easy to watch the world go by. The bathroom was to be fair very small (especially for a bigger guy like me) but how long do you want to spend in the bathroom whilst you are away?!? I would highly recommend this hotel. Many thank yous to the staff that also organised a bottle of wine (which was very nice) in our hotel room when we arrived and a printed card as we were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary 😊

It was okay. The room was quite old, they could favor a renovation.

Central location beautiful old building, clean, staff friendly and helpful. Unsure about the mezzanine stairs for young or elderly.

We stayed here for 5 nights, the staff were really friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfy. The ac was good too, you could leave it on when you went out, which was a great help

Really beautiful hotel right on the water. The views are amazing. We got a lake view room and would highly recommended. The restaurant is very good and has outdoor seating on the lake. The breakfast buffet is also very good.

Hotel is located right in the centre of Malcesine with great access to all areas. The hotel is very dated and looks tired however it is clean and staff are very friendly and helpful. The balcony is very small with only a garden chair to sit on. The court yard is used by the hotel restaurant and is very noisy both early in the morning 05.30 and late at night when the restaurant has finished. The room we stayed in was very cold and the view of the lake was very restricted due to the trees in the court yard. Personally wouldn't stay here again

Great location, nice hotel

Convinient location. Interior a little dated but beds comfortable. Shower small but works well. Overall good stay. No kettle or fridge in room, but coffee is downstairs with breakfast.
