We loved everything about this fantastic hotel. The Suite was spacious and beautiful. Very clean, bed was extremely comfortable. The Ocean view and balcony was beautiful!!! The staff was super friendly everyday at every moment we saw them!!!! Such a wonderful experience!!!!!

Wonderful staff and restaurant. The rooms are comfortable and clean! We had view room with fireplace! A real treat!

Nice property, parking is distant and valet service is slow

It's all about the location, being right in the middle of Monterey. The hotel is OK, but given the price and the rating I was expecting more. Nothing special or outstanding. We booked two rooms. One with a terrace, which was nice but not clean (and asking for it to be cleaned up made no difference; dust and cobwebs were still there). The pool is a joke, and the smallest "pool" I've ever seen (or is it a big tub? ;-). Can even swim a lap without touching both sides of it. Jacuzzi is nice, but also very small (4-5 people max). Staff is a mixed bag. Some were nice, others rude. Called ahead of time to ask for an early check-in. Got that confirmed, so we timed our arrival, but still ended up waiting an hour and a half, being told that I "must have called the wrong number" (which was not the case). We stayed in the same hotel a couple of years back and had great memories, but unfortunately things have changed. Will not repeat.

Room was clean and well serviced. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Mr.John at the front desk was super sweet and helpful. All the front desk staff were amazing. Super clean rooms, great views, 1000% recommended !

The hotel staff were all pleasant, and the building itself was clean and lovely. However, the walls seemed thin—I could hear the voices and TV sounds from the neighboring room, as well as footsteps from the floor above, which woke me up several times during the night. The bedding was also noisy and crinkly, which I found quite annoying.

5 star cleanliness, But the fire alarm at 7:30am was a little disturbing. It was a false alarm. Suggesting that they get new pillows neck ack

Stayed for our 25th anniversary in the king delux with fireplace. Beds are very comfortable and bathroom is huge! Soaker tub and a separate large walk in shower. The overall room size is pretty small no refrigerator or microwave. There was a mini bar that we emptied out to store our drinks and then had to put everything back before we left. Kinda an inconvenience. Parking is $40 and they make you use a bellboy to bring up your bags. Overall it's a very nice hotel with just a few minor issues.

Beautiful hotel, great views and walking distance to the aquarium!

Use of paper cups in the rooms and bathroom is really not ok. Who wants a papercupful of water by their bedside all night? Please go back to using glasses and cups. It’s not a picnic

The hotel was beautiful and all the staff were very nice. We also had dinner at their C restaurant. The food is DELICIOUS, and our waiter Devin was very nice and helpful. They upgraded our room to balcony Room and the view was breathtaking. Highly recommend the hotel.

The staff were friendly and helpful . I would recommend this resort to my friends and family!

Unfortunately, we have somebody above us in the room above us that was noisy and stomping around till very late at night
