We were never notified prior to check in that the indoor pool and hot tub are closed but noticed a sign when we checked in so asked and was told only the outdoor pool is open which was disappointing but not the end of the world. The rooms look like they are in much better shape in the photos than they are. The bathtub was rusty and did not drain properly so I had to keep turning off the water to shower or the tub would over flow. This motel will only provide you a key for the door handle lock leaving you no ability to lock the deadbolt when you leave. Without being able to lock the deadbolt the doors look like they could easily broken into and we didn't feel comfortable leaving anything in the room of value. The only "blanket" provided was two flat white sheets and a thin wool blanket between them. They do not provide any toiletries including hand soap... I didn't expect shampoo conditioner etc but I did expect to be provided hand soap so I was able to wash my hands after using the washroom. A stay at UBC was actually cheaper when I booked this room so I regret the decision to stay here over another hotel in the area. Great location as it is very central and the outdoor pool looked well maintained.

Price is lot higher than the quality. Do not recommend anyone to stay.

This establishment should be taken off this platform, it’s dangerous. The plumbing flooded 2 separate times there was urine and old food coming out the toilet and sink. I had ever $300 worth of clothes damaged due to flooding.

Good for kids or adults. Indoor and outdoor pool, hottub, bbq for guest

Quite dated, clean enough, air gaps around doors and air conditioning, amenities for a few day stay would be very reasonable.

Mold on bathroom walls/joints. Shower head not functioning. Door frame fell off in night. Rules enforcing smoking not followed. Animal poops left on lawn. Pool awesome. Beautiful courtyard but not kept clean. Playground needing much repair.

The property wasn't clean. Bedsheets smell. Need an improvement

It was an excellent experience very welcoming. Also go through the situation that came up with the reservation, not on their end. Different end. And they took care of the problem, so I would go there again anyway.

We loved the amenities in this hotel. My kids had a great time there. But I’m so disappointed when we check in. I reserved a 1 bedroom suite, with kitchen and they told me that they don’t have available one for me. They offer me a 2 queen bed room and they let me use a room with kitchen just for that night, but we cannot sleep in the room because there is not enough beds for us. They told me that they just received my confirmation from expedia 30mins before I check iin, and we check in around 8pm. They gave me an opinion, to get the rooms they offer or cancel my reservation. I have to take their offer to stay there, for my kids, because they love the pool and playground there. But very disappointed that they give our room to others to get more money.

Security of room ( distinction of door locks)

Not what I was expecting from ad. The air conditioner did not cool the room to a reasonable temp to sleep. 82 degrees when we arrived. Could not open patio door for ventilation as people smoking outside our room and area felt unsafe. Units are run down. Garbage under dresser. fridge froze everything we put inside. Should not be called a "resort", boarded up areas. No "private" patio off room as advertised. Didn't find breakfast bar just got out of there. Pool had lounge chair in it and looked not clean.

Asked for room service but they just give more towel and organized the bed , they didnt clean washroom , they did take all the garbage off , poor service , bad experience

The place was dirty, a real dump. Extra small tv, the shower controls were from the 1800's, taps leaked, the toilet was dirty, the shower was filthy. Everything was low class and done as cheaply as possible. Parts of the curtains fell off the rail allowing others to see into the room. Never again!

Great location. The property is old. But it was neat and clean. Very quiet. Lots of parking. Overall it was a great stay

I didn't have a terrible stay as some of the staff were nice... what I didn't like is we stayed 5 nights and even though I asked to have my room cleaned it never was. Also because they have pets allowed, I didn't like when someone in the next unit left their Dog alone and it barked and whined for hours.... It made me very sad .
