Room was very warm and the window barely opened. No ventilation in the bathroom so it made it even worse. Hotel was clean and quiet.

The location is exceptional . In the middle of everything and walkable to bus stops for the airport and excursions . Couldn’t be easier . I had a single solo room and it was in the main building and quiet as I was toward the back of the building . Bed comfortable , had a refrigerator and a spacious bathroom with spacious shower w/ enclosure . The breakfast buffet was nice with a decent selection of items . Will definately stay here again when in Reykjavík.

Location is everything. Just awesome. Room pretty basic. Can be noisy on weekends especially at night when you're trying to sleep.

Toilet clogged, water was extremely pungent; more than anywhere I’ve been.

Room was not clean (hair in the bathroom. Impossible to plug electric pot to boil water as there were no convenient plugs by the desk. Bathroom tissue holder hanging from wall and loose. Toilet dirty. Pillow too soft.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable! The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The location was perfect for walking to attractions, transportation, shopping, restaurants, pubs, etc. We truly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Fron!!

This hotel is on a great shopping & dining street, easy to walk to so many great spots in town! Our room/apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortable. You control your heat separately in each room which I loved! The included breakfast was the cleanest, healthiest breakfast I’ve ever been offered in a hotel! If we come back to Reyjkavic in the future I’ll be staying here again!

Loved having the suite so we were all together. Was caught off guard that there was not air conditioning but it wasn’t an issue at all. Able to open the windows and we were very comfortable. The location was very walkable.

They took good care of us from ordering us a taxi to holding our luggage for us. It is in such a good location, right on the main shopping street.

A nice no frills conveniently located hotel with a good restaurant attached.

Cant fault the hotel or location, be mindful it is on a main street with lots of bars so it can be quite noisy at night. Thats the only downside. But you can close the window to dull the noise

This is a pretty bare bones place. Both of us were reminded of youth hostels. It was clean, breakfast was pretty decent, but the carpets were fraying, towels were thin. Seemed fine, though.

Nice well kept hotel with comfortable rooms right on the Main Street downtown. Breakfast buffet was excellent.
