This stay is the perfect location for those looking to hike and enjoy the national parks of the area. The staff were excellent and extremely helpful. The front desk gentleman with the longer hair helped us pick some different hiking options in the area as well as other tips and tricks. I will be recommending this property to my friends, family, and coworkers when I get home. Thank you!

This hotel is a real gem. A long way up the mountain and away from the masses, perfect peace. The spa was bigger than expected and comprehensive as were the treatments. The only thing I would say is there is a pan Asian theme to the food but with some dishes not hitting the mark. Staff very friendly and our room fabulous. Great for trekking!

Relaxing stay at VillAlba for hiking nearby. Hotel grounds are very well maintained, great views down to the coast. Spa facilities are amazing after a day hiking. Breakfast very good. Only area of improvement is dinner - menu is a bit strange (Asian style rather than Spanish/rustic) and service could be a bit slow. Some nice small restaurants in Vilaflor a 10-15min walk away

Great quiet place to stay away from the resorts on the coast. Friendly, helpful staff, big rooms, decent breakfast. Spa would benefit from the temperatures of the pool/jacuzzi being turned up a bit, especially in winter.

This is a traditional older hotel and Swiss in style. The spa pool is needing return, cracked roof and very cold! The jacuzzi was too full to use otherwise there are 2 saunas a cold dip pool and showers. Nothing great about it really. The general outside areas of the hotel were a little run down too. The room overlooked the front of the hotel with no view and on to a road. The table on the balcony was full of cigarette ash! The restaurant was ok but the service terrible. We waited 25 mins after being given the dessert menu before walking out. Food ok. Village is very basic.

When we arrived we were in formed by reception that due to a problem in our room it was not available for the first night. We were booked into another hotel in a town about 6 miles away. On the following day we returned and the room was lovely with balcony views of the woodland/garden. Again the lady receptionist was apologetic and offered us a free meal in the restaurant. Further to this there was a lovely bottle of Carva in our room. Our stay coincided with valentines day and the hotel was decked out in hearts and lovely banners. On our return to the room after breakfast a red rose and chocolates had been left by the cleaning staff. We had the evening meal which was valentines based and the Carva and passion fruit drink on arrival was a nice touch. Although our stay had been foreshortened by one night we realised what a great place it is to stay after comparing it to the other hotel. Very good access for disabled guests. Also being a parent I liked the idea of no kids rushing around. What's wrong with a bit of peace and quiet for a few days!

I could not of picked a better hotel! Location was fantastic half way up to Mount Teide away from all the hustle bustle of a beach holiday. Facilities of the spa were great, games room cinema room and sitting room were all places for relaxing. Dining room was laid out for breakfast which was a buffet each day and catered for hot items and cold along with cereals, breads yoghurts etc lunch time snack menu was varied and the dinner time too both reasonable priced but excellent dining. Cleaning of rooms was daily and fresh towels too. Would definitely recommend this hotel

We had a truly relaxing time at the hotel. The rooms are large (bedroom, TV room and bathroom), bathroom is also enormous with jacuzzi tub. It is a very quite hotel where you are woken up by birds in the morning rather than cleaners in the corridors zooming with hoovers. Each room has also got a balcony terrace with table and chairs, so it's really nice to have a cup of tea or coffee there or listen to relax and listen to the sounds of nature. The food was very delicious at hotel's restaurant. Staff - always very helpful, calm and kind. There is also an evening room with fireplace, sofas and armchairs and a little bookshelf of books about Tenerife and other stuff. We liked having a cocktail or glass of wine in front of the fire. SPA - has Turkish bania, steam room, sauna, swimming pool, jacuzzi, hot and cold stone pools and treatment rooms. Book your treatments in advance as therapists work certain shifts, so are not always there. Over all for me it was a 5 star experience as this hotel really provides space and atmosphere where people can relax. The hotel is on the hill surrounded by pine tree forest and a little village of Vilaflor. Teide volcano and cable car- about 40 min drive, South coast about 40 min drive, North coast is a lot further away.

Beautiful surrounding scenery up the mountain but I felt this hotel lacked atmosphere. The village nearby had little to offer and nearly everything was closed on a Tuesday. Rather disappointing.

We were greeted warmly by staff as we checked in, it was clear that our comfort and satisfaction was important to them. Pool and sauna facilities were excellent and the outside terrace was a delightful place to be for pre-dinner drinks or simply for relaxation. We stayed for two nights, each time enjoying dinner which was well prepared, of good quality and served by staff attendant to our needs. A slight weakness was breakfast - food not quite hot enough, no fried eggs and toaster very slow. Our sat-nav could not identify the road/location so we did experience some difficulty finding the hotel. Nevertheless I would recommend the hotel.

We were amazed by the impressive interior that interacted with the serene atmosphere of the exterior. the room was luxurious, specious , designed in very good taste, and in general, flawless. Hotel staff was very kind and patient, willing to assist in any issue at ant tine of day. Overall we had a spectacular experience .
