Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Rooms are nice and clean. Free bottles of water everyday. Location is great. Bring a good jacket because restaurants and bars are cold in Puno. Would recommend this hotel.

Travelers should be aware that drivers may not know how to get to the property as streets in the area are mostly pedestrian only. However, it is possible for vehicles to directly access the hotel on one street only.

Central location, but no traffic outside so had to walk to nearby street for tour pickups. Comfortable room and bed, greeted with complimentary cookie on arrival

Very convenient location, lovely staff

Very helpful and happy staff. Hot buffet bkft with options of cooked to order. Laundry service, sent out. Since on a pedestrian only street, pick ups require some walking. The bellman came down 2 blocks to help with luggage s we arrived after dark and had trouble locating the hotel. A wonderful stay!

The staff at Tierra Viva went above and beyond! The hotel was the best we stayed in during our 2 week trip through Peru. Highly recommended!

My stay at Tierra Viva was excellent. The staff was very friendly and professional and the breakfast buffet was great. I enjoyed the free tea service as well. The room was very comfortable as well.

Great hotel. More a four star than a three star. Great staff, excellent room with great bed, hot shower with good pressure. Really good buffet breakfast. Excellent location and a very reasonable room rate!

Great location close to the main pmaza and streets. A bit noisy at times. A basic hotel for the money. Room was small and without character. Windows didn't open so the room smelt a bit stale. Breakast was fine, and staff pleasant.

Hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. It's located in a convenient location near the main plaza. The hotel is on a pedestrian plaza so taxi drop off/pick up is about a block away. Some rooms face a noisier side. I had to use ear plugs to fall asleep. Overall I will stay here again if I visit Puno again. But, I would request to stay on the other side of the building.

Our stay was very good. Room was fine (shower booth is open style and water tends to spray out of the booth) but everything else was great and the Internet was strong. Best part was staff. Both the night and day front desk staff were friendly and helpful and when my wife was feeling altitude sickness n the morning, she gave oxygen, altitude sickness tablets and a special smelling oil to help. Excellent service!
