We stayed for 2 nights and it was lovely. The staff were welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for our little one. Dinesh and Karim especially stood out through our interactions and from little things like holding the door open while we entered to assisting us to use the kitchen microwave and freezer, no request was too big and was always met with a smile. The breakfast spread was lovely. As someone who prefers alternatives to an English breakfast, the omelette made to order was a welcome change. The rooms were clean and the bathroom spotless. Huge win in my book.

Everything was fine until we went to swimming pool. They have a policy that children under 3 years old are not allowed in the swimming pool even in swimming suits and accompanied by adult.

We have a lovely stay room was so nice and clean and staff were all lovely just as we checked out we wanted to go for a swim and was told we could which was a let down tbh. Was told we had to go before check out time and wasn’t even busy which was a shame kids ruined our day

An extremely clean and tidy hotel, staff were excellent and spa facilities extremely good. The one down side was the fact that we asked the staff at the front desk to order a taxi for us from the hotel to Flackwell Heath golf club. The taxi charged us a “fixed fee” of £25 for a five mile taxi ride. I suggest that The Crowne Plaza refrain from using Charlie’s executive cars from now on! This was a £10 journey at most.

Slow check-in, otherwise what you expect for the price.

Great reception and check in. Clean room, everything worked. Bar area was a little slow to be cleared away with a lot of tables with glasses, plates on them. Breakfast was usual buffet. Coffee machines were out of order and the the coffee in flasks wasn’t great. Pool area and changing rooms all clean and well maintained.

We go every year at Christmas as a treat. The hotel rooms are lovely. Spacious, well designed with great lighting, bit TV, great bathroom, warm in the winter, improving breakfast and a sauna, steam room and pool. What more could you want. Unfortunately our last visit had too many things go wrong during a short stay so I cannot give it a higher rating this time round. This review would be too long if I got into it all. We will return next year and hopefully not experience these awful frustrations that marred our normally highly pleasurable time at this hotel. If standards are declining, we sadly will break tradition and book elsewhere.

On the whole was the hotel was fine and met my expectations of the Crown Plaza brand, however the shower in the room didn't run warm and the swimming pool was showing signs of a need of redecoration was surprising for an international hotel chain.
