Overall, a decent place to stay. The issue we had were the fact that it’s extremely noisy. There is a door to the hallway that separated the main area that was kept open for some reason so we could hear all the commotion in the main hallway until 3-4am. It wasn’t quiet until I shut the door the next night and was able to get some sleep. Also, the shower was barely big enough for an adult. The water had to be shut off to lather up because your head is under the shower head no matter how you stand in there. Aside from those two things, the room was decent overall. The bed was comfortable and staff were friendly. The location was great but difficult to find at first. Once you get the hang of Venice, it’s not too bad.

The staff at Hotel Aurora were very friendly and helpful, and the location next to the famous Rialto Bridge made it easy to find and explore the city. The room was small but comfortable. However, the breakfast was disappointing.

Good location but no elevator, and no towel. The room is a bit dated but the bathroom is updated.

The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of most attractions. The Rialto Bridge is steps away as are the water buses. It is surrounded by shops and restaurants. The reception is small but adequate. The room was a good size and lovely and warm when I arrived. It was quite chilly in the city at that time. Extra blankets were also provided. The bathroom had a lovely waterfall shower. There was a fridge and safe in the room which was nice and an open rail with hangers to hang your clothes. All in all a great experience.

Stylish with the city! Loved the room- Walk up with luggage challenging and no one offered to help. Staff behaved as if you are supposed to know about the services offered but I had to ask for everything- place to store luggage, restaurant attached with breakfast included. Etc…

Bad experience with night staff, not accommodating, unnecessary discussion, no response on phone calls, but good experience with morning person ( stuff reception ) he is kind and accommodating. Room is really small, not so much space.

The hotel is right in the heart of the Rialto bridge area. It's in a safe location and takes about 10 minutes to talk to St. Mark's Square.

First this place has the best location.Rialto bridge is basically right outside. There’s a tiny alleyway you could cut too and it takes you like 30 seconds and the aqua bus stops there too. It’s 8 minute walk to San Marcos Square if you’re not distracted by all the beautiful shops around. But be warned everything else is as the other review describes… the beds are uncomfortable, but firm and if you’re sleeping in a 3 person room do not expect much space, a moldy smell. There’s no elevator and lots of stairs. Furniture and bathroom is very outdated, but expected for Venice at this price point. They try to be as accommodating as possible when we first checked in our bathroom had a nonfunctioning toilet and they were able to switch us to another room, there is no screens on the windows and the AC was not on anymore because it was already end of October. They gave us a fan and we had to crack the window open because it was very stuffy. The streets are very loud as there is a restaurant right downstairs below our window. You have to use earplugs to sleep, also it’s in a very busy area so there’s gonna be noise. However, for the price, I would definitely stay here again for just how amazing the LOCATION!! We request a water kettle which was unavailable for the first night, but they found one for us for the second night and that was really nice. Clean towels, very basic toiletry amenities. Again, I can’t stress enough how it is conveniently located.

BE Aware when you book with this property, there is never anyone at the reception, and you have yo wait ages for someone to come and talk to you, no lies , we had to go a knock on the door upstairs as advised by a person that works in the bard nearby. The other thing is that we’ve been giving wrong room that wasn’t even on their website it’s in different building completely, it was DISGUSTING, mould all over the bathroom and dead flies on the bath. Went again to ask to change the room, but guess what no one was there and had to wait until next day in the morning we finally changed the room but we had to wait for about an hour to talk to someone because the receptionist is never there. A nice guy from the hotel bar works there and had to phone him on WhatsApp to come over.

Perfect location close to the Rialto bridge. We were met by a really lovely guy on reception who we unfortunately never got the name of. We were luckily given a room upgrade from the standard room we originally booked which was a really lovely surprise. The room was large, clean and comfortable, we couldn’t have asked for better. Would definitely stay again as the price was great for the location. A wee note is we found Google and Apple Maps were able to take us to the restaurant rather than the hotel when looking up the address when first arriving, just incase anyone can’t find it.

For a quick stay the property and location is great however the room had an overpowering smell of air freshener when we checked in, so much that we had to ope. The window for most of the evening. They do have an area for left luggage however they only have a few lockable lockers with the rest of the luggage left in an unsecure area.

The hotel location was perfect for walking and the water bus stop for all of Venice was right there. The beds were comfortable, room was small but normal for Europe standards. Bathroom could use some work.
