Would prefer off-hours access to the hotel with swipe card rather than call reception.

Very good location. Room was a good size. Decent price. Front desk staff pleasant and accommodating. Old furniture, some cracks in the wood. Bathroom needs renovation. Room not very clean. Not very good sound insulation.

Hotel was much smaller than advertised, had to scale 3 floors of stairs with my luggage due to a very small lift, hallways were always dark with hard to find light switches, furniture was in much worse condition than advertised, bathroom much smaller than advertised, had no access to the safe to store my valuables and when attempted to contact reception got no response, the management guide stated 'No valuables to be left in the hotel room' and with no access to safe and the horrible introduction we attempted to find another hotel room for the night but was unsuccessful, overall disappointed with this introduction to Paris, would not have even paid £50 a night let alone £170 definitely disappointed

Staff were rude, rooms weren’t clean, trash can was full of trash when it was supposedly cleaned before I came, never again

Perfect spot for young travelers. Social scene with boutique bars and restaurants all around. Metro right across the street. Super fun style inside. Great value for PARIS! Hotels right by this are 4x the cost! Don't tell everyone because it's our new place(wink) Highly recommend. Yummy breakfast. Simple and affordable with perfect location.

My main concern during our stay was the AC, at first I was hesitant to choose this hotel because of the reviews about the AC not working that eventually they will fix it but sad to say they didn’t…and since we were there first week of September and was so hot and humid, so frustrated…

Noisy, no air conditioning, elevator broken, bathroom door broken. Everytime you closed the door you were locked in. Breakfast extremely simple. They watch you when you are getting items. Republic is a hopping area but hotel is old and needs repair.

The front staff was helpful but the hotel itself is not clean. They appear to have one iron for the hotel. We stayed in a quadruple room with the kids. The room was very small (normal for Paris) but loud noises from the street and above were constant. No place to store suitcases. I would not stay in this hotel next time.

The elevator was out of order our entire stay. I was on the 5th floor (a FRENCH 5th floor, so lobby is 0. The next floor is 1) - and had to walk up and down a dark, narrow, spiral staircase every time I wanted to go to my room. And had to carry my suitcase up and down all by myself. The room was terrible. Small, musty, with black, gross carpet. Threadbare, small towels. Without an elevator, this is nothing more than a hostel. I would NEVER stay here again and would have moved immediately upon arrival if any other hotel had been available. We paid for a 3 star hotel - this is a half star hotel.

Good staff. The room was not as advertised. Tiny tiny and it always had flies inside. A decent continental breakfast included and close to various Metro stations. Very noisy street, lots of police sirens and people, not really a good place for kids.

Great place to stay close to everything all the majors trains are just lest then 2 min walking you have a lot stuff to eat and walk around I will stay again Love it
