The hotel was lovely, staff excellent, pool and sunbathing areas great along with 3 hottubs! The room was snug but overall it was fab. I would definitely return

The hotel is in a great location. Breakfast was really good for reasonable price. The rooms are a bit small but well appointed. Very nice pool area. The roof top bar was closed for the season. One criticism is the blow dryers connected to the wall in the bathroom. Just hate these.

The apartment was clean, air-conditioning was good. No door on toilet was more of an issue than expected, privacy was one thing, but being disturbed by light and noise anothe.. no fridge or coffee making facilities in room. There is a communal area with coffee making, and free bottled water in fridge but all rooms open onto it, so you need to be dressed...

This hotel was lovely we went bed and breakfast, the hotel is very stylish. But there is not enough sunbeds and we found the cooked breakfast on the old side .

Modern hotel in a good location . Good pool and plenty of sunbeds . Breakfast starts too late (8:30) and bar shuts too early (11:15) , staff have no flexibility .

Great location right next to the beach. The swimming pool area is fantastic and the staff were friendly. The only downside was that the room was making little electrical sounds during the night which was disturbing for a light sleeper.

I stayed at this property for 3 days.I liked that the beach was within walking distance from the hotel. I enjoyed the cafe con leche from the bar. The staff was helpful...but not very welcoming. The pool area was nice especially the two jacuzzis upstairs however the timer on them was malfunctioning.

The hotel was in a great location a five minute walk from the beach. Good breakfast and nice pool beds and pool. Service was good overall. The rooms were nice and clean but they were not very soundproof. You could hear a lot of chairs being pushed and pulled around on balconies and people talking late at night which did not aid with good sleep. This is something that could hopefully improve.

Despite its four-star claims, the Essence Hotel in Torremolinos delivered a disappointing experience from start to finish. The front desk staff were consistently rude and unhelpful, making even simple requests feel like an inconvenience. Although I was given a voucher for a welcome drink, I was met with eye-rolling from the bartender when I tried to redeem it — which made me wonder why they offer it at all. Towel service was frustrating: not mentioned at check-in, only available at the front desk, and limited to one exchange per day before 3:00 PM. When I inquired, I was ignored for five minutes while the staff took a phone call, and I eventually walked away. I was also given no help when I asked for dining recommendations near the beach, assistance with mailing a stamped postcard, or even directions to the nearest mailbox — ironically, my Uber driver was far more helpful than anyone at the hotel. Because of the poor service, I avoided spending another cent on the property, including dining. The dismissive attitude left no desire to support the hotel further. The facilities looked nice but didn’t function well — the A/C had no fan control, and the bathroom fan blasted every time you turned on the light. It’s more a three-star property wearing a four-star label. Overall, a stylish exterior couldn’t make up for the lack of hospitality. I won’t be returning — and wouldn’t recommend it.

It was a great 3 night stay, the facilities were great, staff friendly and for a couple the hotel had everything we would need or want. Only downer for us was the room location. Directly above the main entrance so heard everyone coming and going very clearly, facing a main road with buses and Lorrie’s going up and down and internally opposite the lift and stairs so heard everyone on our floor coming and going. We would absolutely visit again but request a different room location if possible.

A wonderful stay overall. The hotel was spotless, with good amenities, delicious food, and welcoming staff. The property was well-maintained and pleasantly quiet, especially considering its location right in the middle of the busy coastline and restaurants — perfect for a relaxing getaway. Good value for the money paid.
