As I had stayed in Fornaluxt previously I knew as a lone female traveller the village would be safe.
The hotel was a converted convent down a quaint side street. I had the single room at the top. The bedroom had a very comfortable double bed, but I felt the room was fairly basic for the price. The bathroom however was very modern and very large, could probably steal a few feet for the bedroom!
The breakfast was varied and plentiful and there was a gorgeous terrace to sit at facing the stunning mountain views.
It's a shame there was nothing to offer in the evenings in regards to dining, a bbq would be a nice touch, just to make the guests mingle. I feel the prices at the 'honesty bar' could be lowered as there is no service required, but there was plenty of choice should you wish to use it. All the staff were very friendly.
Overall I spent a delightful week in the prettiest village, and the hotel was perfect for my needs.
