The breakfast was not included in the room price. The fee was 7 Euros each. The eggs were cold. They tasted ok though. There was yogurt available & 3 types of juice and water. Cappacino was also included. There was a bowl of fresh fruit: bananas, apples, oranges and grapes.

The breakfast here was superb. Wait staff made hot drinks to order. The air conditioning was perfect. The balcony and lake view was truely epic! The location was peaceful with good transport links.

Great hotel. Breakfast was amazing. Lake view was amazing. Nice walk down to the lake. Great location with a car. Walking distance to one of the ferry terminals. Great room.

The hotel is a bit dated, the rooms are okay. Our room didn’t have working air conditioning and the key card was broken. However, you’re definitely paying for the magnificent view from the hotel and balcony room (if you chose lake view). The staff are wonderful. Breakfast is continental with an option of scrambled eggs and (hot dog style) sausage. The restaurant next door is amazing and also has a wonderful view of the lake. The area is quiet with a stone beach at the bottom of the hotel. There is a supermarket not far away in the car and a couple of other restaurants within walking distance. A great base if you want quiet.

Everything was great

The hotel was exceptionally better than I thought! It is in such a beautiful location surrounded by amazing Mountain View’s and only 1 minute away from lake como beach area behind the property. The hotel itself is a little dated but kept in excellent condition and very clean! Parking is available and the staff were incredibly nice. I would stay in this property again and highly recommend it.

Wonderful. Thank you, Said and all the staff. And a huge bonus having the Abbadia restaurant, so good ate there every night. Exceeded expectations.

Great location with a great breakfast with lake view.

We arrived by car and the property has a good secure parking area. The rooms were large and the bed comfortable. Everything looked well used and dated in the rooms, including one socked hanging out of the wall that I was going to use to charge my phone. The restaurant does not have a restaurant for evening meals but does provide breakfast at additional cost. We didn't partake. Overall, this hotel is more functional than anything else. We were on a 10 day driving tour around the Alps and Lakes and this hotel was ranked 8th. So pretty meh.

Hidden jewel along Lake Como. Away from the craziness of other tourist hotspots. Great restaurant next door. Excellent service.

The property is located very nicely with lake access at the back. The air-conditioning however seem not to be working properly as I find it hot during the day.

In my European trip.. this is the most expensive hotel I stayed spent $400 CAD for one night. more expensive than all other places I stayed during the trip (Rome, Venice, Interlaken, Zurich, Paris, Ams) etc. The property is pretty old and not in the center of Lake Como also. The only plus is it is beside the lake and breakfast service was good compared to conditions of all other stuff of the hotel. I could not find any reason why this hotel should be that expensive.

This is an older property with an incredible view of Lake Como. The front desk staff were exceptional and super helpful. The room could use a little TLC but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The balcony had the best view of the lake. We spent most of our time on that balcony. There is a delicious pizza place next door. Gated parking for a fee but it was worth it and super convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is a little dated but the staff is amazing! Breakfast was nice. Ambiance was nice, great outdoor area with lakeside view.

They had a group of teenagers on the whole floor where we were assigned a room. They kept screaming and talking loudly up until midnight in the hallway. When asked front desk to change the room, they offered us a room on ground floor but we paid for a lake view room. I do have videos of group talking and running around. Hotel is outdated. Not happy with our stay. However. Breakfast staff was kind.

We loved that the hotel was just across the road from the train station. We arrived at night and had a room with a balcony overlooking Lake Como. The view in the morning was just awesome! All the staff were really friendly and helpful and spoke English. We went off season so there didn’t appear to be much open nearby apart from a restaurant next door but it was a beautiful location and perfect for what we needed.
