Van der valk always good Best grand hotels in Nederland

Very clean and spacious room. The hotel is quite large and not easy to get around in with luggage. The restaurant in-house is the best among all the Van der Valks I’ve been to.

With useing these hotels chain a few times it was only 30min drive to work all the staff were amazing the room were big had a bath ans shower the bat was a jet one the only thing i would say is it would be nice to have some bottle water with price you pay and i do understand you can by some.form the shop with have a bottle.in your fridge when you arrive.

Bad; had to pay for baby cot (even though room was booked for mum n baby and paid for that) and then they wanted us to pay for breakfast for a 1 year old…

We normally visit family in the Netherlands and have stayed at the same hotel for the past several years. We normally enjoyed our stay at the hotel, but this year it was not the case; I found they only seemed to care about getting money from you. They wanted me to pay for a 1 year old baby at breakfast?I booked a second room for my daughter and her baby this year and was told at check in I had to pay for the baby’s cot?? Going forward I will look at different hotel. There were other issues but won’t wast my time as nothing will change!

Really unexpectedly nice hotel just a few km from the pretty village of Vianen. Staying here for a work event at the Miele Experience Centre, staff were lovely, food was really good, much better than the big chain hotels, rooms were big, well equipped, and the same as the rest of the hotel, spotlessly clean. Highly recommended

Second time we have stopped there for a long weekend and the staff are fantastic. The hotel is so easy with Kids

Good hotel with a nice food quality. A big plus that you can bring dog with you to breakfast and dinner, appreciated. Food good and nice ambience. Parking barriers caused an annoyance as we forgot the tickets when we drove out and could not reach reception by the intercom on the barrier.

The Van der Valk Vianen was as great as usual, even with the Covid measures in place. I like how big the rooms are, plenty parking and a quiet setting despite being conveniently close to major roads. It has been very well set up to manage the risks of Covid thanks to Perspex shields, floor markings, many hand sanitizer stations and modified breakfast serving. I felt completely safe.

Extremely well-kept, modern, friendly hotel, easy to locate and near the motorway.

Housekeeping was limited to making the bed, supplying towels and taking out trash. When I first arrived, I was told the room was clean and ready for me. Upon entrance, I found floors were not vacuumed and furniture not dusted nor cleaned. Hair pins scattered the carpet, a perfume vial was on the couch, and strands of hair that were not mine curled near the trash bin (though the trash was taken out daily). This was instantly brought up with reception, and housekeeping only came back to vacuum the hair pins. During my 5 night stay the rest remained untouched. I cannot say if bedding was changed in between guests. I found one of the pillows contained the scent and stain left by its previous user. Considering the hotel’s cost and rating, this was very disappointing.

Good service on reception, very helpful when my electronic key failed. Room was excellent, all fittings new, very clean and well thought out layout. Ate dinner in the restaurant which was very good, and again service was great. Overall, I was very pleased with this hotel and will stay here again.

Great stay even if room was a little old.

Nice place to stay while on the road or to just enjoy a weekend in beautiful typically Dutch surroundings. Breakfast assortment is good.

The decor here was fantastic the room was superb great to have shower and bath the bed comfortable and we also ate in the restaurant which was great

Big comfortable hotel. I arrived late and can only comment in the room and breakfast. Rooms are cosy renovated and comfy. Service at breakfast wasn’t very good, nobody from the staff was and choice is more limited than in other VDV hotels

Stayed here overnight on a road trip. Room was large and clean. Staff were friendly and the food and facilities on site were great.
