Dont let the outside of the building influence you. The rooms ars big and clean, bed is a bit to hart for me, bathroom has a big tub and is very clean, breakfast is awesome and the pool just beautiful. You need a car to get around.

Furnishings are outdated and hotel is a bit away from a restaurant or bar. Staff was very friendly and the gym was nice.

Podia ser um pouco mais barato pelo que e oferecido. Não é um hotel 4 estrelas. Café razoável, staff agradável. Mas o hotel é bem simples. Duas camas de solteiro unidas, não tem ac no quarto, tivemos que deixar a porta da varanda aberta. Não ficaria la novamente

Two days visit to see family. The hotel is run down but breakfast is superb. No coffee service in room,

No soap in bathtub dispenser, and bidet drained VERY SLOWLY, no functioning air conditioning unit in bedroom and tv came on by itself in the middle of the night.

Very spacious hotel that included a nice breakfast. While we didn't use the outdoor pool/cabana area, it looked like a great setup. The views from our balcony were great, although it was located close enough to private residences that you could hear them in the day time (construction, etc.) The shower water temperature would fluctuate pretty constantly, which was a bit unpleasant. When using the sink, the water would dribble down the spout and onto the counter, which was a bit strange. You could also easily hear other guests while in the bathroom which is not unique to this hotel, but also not preferred. The front desk was nice and pleasant. They were able to call us a taxi (as the taxi did not speak English) easily within minutes. We tried a pork sandwich and a hamburger from the bar, which were large portions. They were tasty but not great, but a good value nonetheless. All in all it was a nice stay and we would come back.

The bar needed a bigger TV and better speakers

Excellent service, free parking, very good breakfast buffet, thankfully the restaurant was open for dinner. Only discomfort was the hard mattress, which is common in Portugal, but difficult to have a good night's sleep.

The hotel was very clean and the front desk staffing were very friendly and accommodating. I would say the only thing lacking was that their was no shampoo or conditioner in the suite bathroom. But overall, a good hotel.

The staff are absolutely outstanding. They helped arrange an airport transfer for me early in the morning even when all the taxi drivers refused to come. Thank you for the incredible service from Hotel Colombo

We were here for my daughter's birthday and the team sent a cake to our room, it made us feel very special. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the pool was lovely as was our stay.

Waited over20 minutes at check in only one poor girl behind counter queue of about 12 people. Balcony rail rusty, air con rusty.Pool out of use for 2 days. Ordered monitors and pina colada, took 20 mins to arrive costing 15euros and hopelessly wrong, no mint

This hotel is the largest on the island by far and seems out of scale with the rest of the island architecture. The building is a little dated and in need of some repairs and a facelift, but overall it met our needs for our stay. There are huge floor to ceiling windows/doors in the rooms that open to a balcony overlooking the farmland below the hotel and ocean beyond. The sun makes the rooms really hot in the afternoon (and we were visiting in the winter!) so it is nice to be able to open the doors and get a cool sea breeze. We were traveling with a small child so the downside to opening the doors was the balcony has large openings under the railing (almost a foot of open space) and we had to be super vigilant that the child didn't get close to the edge. There is an outdoor pool and a jacuzzi in the gym adjacent to the hotel. Use of the jacuzzi is included for hotel guests and the gym can be used for a small daily fee.

It may have been a very property at one time, but now it's dated. For example the round CRT televisions in 2019 is very for a hotel. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The property seemed clean, my room was clean. But the is visible water damage on many walls and hall carpets, the lights in the lobby are missing some parts. There was no hot water, I took lukewarm showers for the week I stayed there.

Enjoyed the location and the pool area both areas added quite and security

The hotel is in a perfect location, and the staff was very accommodating to our needs!
