We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel with such a gorgeous view of the sea and the mountain . The warm indoor pool was also very pleasant. The location was so nice and we would hope to go back there again.

Great location and views, dinner (seafood options) were all fantastic. Had fresh roasted octopus, a mixed seafood pasta & a local red pepper ear pasta with local wine. All exceptional. Only issue was no cold a/c in room (was not working)

Quiet, serene with beautiful views of the coast and ocean. Christ the redeemer statue on the hill above watching over you. Doesn’t get any better except it does. Such a lovely hotel with the best staff in Italy. Comfortable room, clean and modern. The restaurant is outstanding both in cuisine and service. The daily breakfast was wonderful with a great and varied selection of foods including meats, eggs, and fruits. Beautiful breakfast room with an Amalfi like view. All the staff we interacted with were awesome and worthy of the highest praise for their caring attitudes and warm smiles.

We had a very warm welcome from the lady on reception and the breakfast staff were lovely. Our room was a good size with quality bed linen and excellent bathroom products. There was a great selection at breakfast and some excellent cappuccino made to order. We only stayed one night and I don’t really think that’s practical as it’s a bit of a trek to get to, especially with the road closures. We got horribly lost so arrived late, a bit tired and frustrated.

Excellent one night stay on route to Tropea. Great spot to sit on the terrace and watch the sunset. Staff polite, professional and attentive. Nice sized swimming pool. Evening meal was excellent…particularly the homemade deserts. Great value for money.

Located away from the hustle and bustle of towns this hotel is located in walking distance of several walking beaches. It is however a little difficult to get to without a car and unfortunately the hotel did not reply to our request for guidance ahead of our arrival.

I did not know what to expect from Maratea. It is steep hills and little beaches down steep hills. There are three areas, Marina De Maratea, Port and Borgo. The hotel is near Marina, which is a few kms from the other areas. The hotel has a lovely view of the water, it is only about 1km to walk to the beach. The cost of a beach bed and umbrella is not included in the room price. Otherwise you need to drive to go anywhere, there are no walking paths nearby. The room was lovely, with a patio that looked out over the sea. No Italian bathrooms seem to have hair conditioner, so bring your own! And body lotion. The restaurant is good, their rabbit tortellini was fantastic!! Easy free parking. But all the local roads are very wind-y , be warned.

We liked our stay of one night very much. We loved walking into our room and seeing the view of the sea, so beautiful. We enjoyed spending time on our balcony with a glass of wine and listening to the surf. The hotel was spotless, the staff very accommodating and friendly and the breakfast served in the morning was excellent.

Stayed in a deluxe double room with a balcony and a lovely sea view for 2 nights. Everything was exceptionally clean and the bathroom was super equipped – with cotton buds, nail file and even a disposable toothbrush! If you come by car, there’s plenty of free parking in their lovely lot. The hotel also has an OK indoor pool, but as others have said you need to wear a swim cap, either your own or one that you can buy from the hotel. I felt this was a bit old-fashioned and unnecessary. The hotel also has a semi-private beach, which is a 15 minute walk down a not very pretty hill. We walked it, but they do offer 2 shuttle busses in the morning and in the afternoon if you’d rather not walk. Even as guests of the hotel we had to pay €15 for two sun loungers and a parasol and access to the facilities. We were a bit surprised and thought this was a bit pricey for guests of the hotel. However, the beach was lovely, quiet and the water was crystal clear. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet. It had a nice selection of juices, ham and cheeses and of course Italian cakes. We thought the servers were very attentive; we never had to wait for our coffees and they kept the area very tidy. The hotel also has a very good restaurant, which is open only in the evening (8-10pm). It was pricey but we had a good meal. Overall, we would recommend the hotel.
