Spacious room, well located however not advisable to walk from/to Pelourinho at night (no problem during the day)

Stayed here with my husband during the Brazil 2014 World Cup. The main reason to pick this place was the location because it is very near from the Arena Fonte Nova where the matches took place and walking distance from Pelourinho (the historic centre). I was worried about some of the reviews posted in here mainly regarding the security of the neighborhood but there was no problems at all. If you use common sense and don't walk around showing your valuable stuff, you will not have any problems. The rooms have safebox and are very clean and staff is very helpful and kind. They can drive you to or from the airport (of course at an additional fee) but having the alternative gave us some peace of mind. They offer plenty of fruits and breads for breakfast as well as homemade fresh juices and jams. The only thing they can improve is providing wireless internet in all bedrooms (at the time of our visit, they only have Wi-Fi at the dining rooms).

We stayed here during the World Cup. The staff were very helpful and happy to assist when you asked. However, it is on a very sketchy street and the walk from town is not doable at night since its a very unsafe area. However, there is a security guard. The hotel rooms were ok, but old and falling apart. The mutual joint area of the poussada were nice. Breakfast was decent. Overall, staff was helpful but location isn't ideal.

The location is great and it is a nice historic building. Staff is good. However it is very loud at nights and sometimes impossible to sleep.

Stayed during the world cup, so prices were expectedly high. Was very disappointed with the quality of the 3-person room we stayed in -- looked nothing like the photos, the only furniture looked like it has been picked up off the street. The hotel staff was helpful, but the location did not seem safe.

Close to the pelorinho, which is very charming, however this hotel is the Saude neighborhood which is not particularly safe, especially at night. Rooms were in fair condition at best and wifi didn't work outside the main lobby/dining area. If you cannot get lodging in the pelorinho this is an option but would recommend a place in the pelorinho if possible.

We were Accom in a disused hostel around World Cup.. Rooms were terrible. Worst Accom I have ever stayed in

The rooms are very basic, but spotlessly clean and as promised (safe, bed, TV, shower) and the courtyard is beautiful. Very nice breakfast and helpful staff. As they say in their description, it is just outside the main tourist area, so you have to walk down a very steep hill and up a very steep hill to get to the old city. And the area between the hotel and the old city doesn't feel unsafe during the day, but feels slightly edgy at night.

the pousada had minimum maintenance and a depressing, unwelcoming feel. there's a well-stocked fridge and a safe, air conditioning, and a living area. Everything you need for your stay is there in terms of basic amenities, but not worth it for the price being charged. the towels were clean, but still looked old and dingy. i did not touch them. how much could it cost to buy new towels and bedsheets, in the land of inexpensive, high-quality Brazilian cotton? the bathroom was clean, but still looked dirty. the sofa looked worn and used, and not in a charming, vintage way. more like a nasty, second-hand college dorm room kinda way. i would say that sums it up - the owner needs to put in some effort to improve the place, especially given that it's not that great of an expense to do so.

Cheguei e fui muito bem atendido pelos funcionários, achei a pousada extremamente limpa com colchão e roupas de cama impecáveis e cheirosos, banheiros igualmente asseiados, diversas opções no café. Muitíssimo satisfeito. Recomendo. Vou voltar.

O ambiente é aconchegante, as instalações são boas no geral, mas não havia alguém na recepção em alguns momentos em que precisei e não havia meio de contato. Também achei o horário do café da manhã um pouco tarde.

A Pousada X é um lugar especial, onde você se sente em casa. Os funcionários são como uma família, sempre prontos para ajudar. As acomodações são confortáveis e aconchegantes. A localização é perfeita, perto de tudo o que você precisa.

Tranquila, para passar uma noite, para viagens rápidas que não necessitam de muito conforto ficaria novamente.

Ich bin zum 2. Mal da, weil es mir gut gefällt. Es ist sauber und das Personal ist super nett. Man kann die Sehenswürdigkeiten fußläufig sicher gut erreichen.

Foi ótima. Atendimento top, o quarto em que ficamos muito bom. Local silencioso e pertinho de tudo. A pousada é linda. Apenas o WiFi deixou um pouco a desejar, mas nada que desabonasse o restante.
