Excellent luxury hotel They had an air conditioning system issue during our visit

Truly exceptional stay! From the moment we arrived, the staff impressed us with their attentiveness and eye for detail—they triple-checked everything to make sure our experience was seamless. The location is a dream: step outside and you’re surrounded by charming shops, incredible restaurants, and the buzz of the Market. We were disappointed to miss a dip in the pool since it was closed for upgrades, but that was a small hiccup in an otherwise fantastic visit. Special shoutout to the divine harpist!

Our first trip to Charleston… absolutely the best place to stay! Exquisite, beautiful hotel, with courteous, helpful staff! Location was walking distance to everything we wanted to see! I will definitely be coming back!

This was such a lovely hotel with friendly staff. It is so convenient to all the downtown shops and attractions.

Beautiful hotel! My only complaint is that the walls are pretty thin and we had very noisy late-night little kids in the adjoining room — they were not able to put our teens next to us. Ask for a quiet room!

As soon as you walk through the doors you are greeted with beauty of flowers and peach sweet tea, which then everything else was just professional and my I say the three entry ways lead you to different parts of downtown shopping and views. You have to get a balcony room to enhance it, this has been the best hotel I have stayed at ever.

Our first time in Charleston, and staying at The Charleston Place was the best choice. This hotel is located in an ideal location for dining, shopping and sight seeing. We only took an Uber to and from the airport (about 20 minutes). The hotel is beautiful, clean and pays attention to detail. The nightly turn down service was a nice touch. Highly recommend this hotel!! We will be back!
