We had a lovely stay at this hotel whilst visiting Ajanta and Ellora caves. The staff were all very obliging. The buffet breakfasts and dinner were very good, offering a range of Indian and western food. Considering it was a 5 star hotel, I thought the restaurant and bar prices were quite reasonably priced. The Indian dinner wine however, was not very good… way too sweet and quite expensive to boot. Stick with the beer or the gin.

If you wish to experience cave stay then this hotel is perfect for you. Looks like ancient Indian hotel and the rooms and toilet smells like we are inside a cave. Not stay worthy, I never recommend this hotel at all. Have a look of attached photos of toilet/bathroom of an executive room, room no.105.

No value for money at all. Old furniture and fixtures. Hotel needs refurbishment. No napkin towels were there in the room. No paper or any other napkins were there in the common washrooms in the lobby. Never choose this hotel unless you don't have another options.

The Ambassador Ajanta is an older property. While in some ways it looks dated, it is still a very nice hotel with great service overall. The front desk staff, especially Tasleem, were very helpful. They also accommodated our late checkout even when they were fully booked. I would say there was some confusion about our kids. Expedia says 0-17 are kids, but the hotel said anyone about 6 is an adult. I booked my room based off of what Expedia said. Initially the hotel wanted to charge me for the kids as adults. However when I showed them screenshots from Expedia, they let us go by what we had booked and didn’t charge for the kids.

Great choice for tourists visiting Aurangabad, and the many sights it has to offer. The hotel has truly lovely grounds and pool area, a welcoming bar and restaurant, comfortable guest rooms, and attentive staff. Many restaurants nearby. Highly recommended.

It's rated as 4 star but is really 3 star. Decent hotel. The water pump broke down and we had no water for a few hours. Apart from that, the hotel was fine. The staff were super helpful though.

The service was great, but the rooms are incredibly outdated. It would not be a big deal otherwise, but the bathrooms need immediate attention. There was black mold in the shower. The shower curtain and bath mat were covered in mold. These are easily replaceable items! which shows the conscious disregard for cleanliness from the hotel management.

The property it is very nice. It has all the amenities you need, their customer service it is great. specially the staff they make you fill at home. The breakfast buffet it is very good and their dinner was awesome. The only issue was the level of noise coming street window. Need to be replace to block the heavy traffic noise. The room are large and I was very happy staying there. Thanks for the airport pick up. The hotel is also close to the train station. I want to thank the travel desk they have for arranging the two day car and driver. It made it easy to visit the tourist attractions.

Good location. Has a lot of greenery and open space in the hotel compound. Breakfast spread is very good. Swimming pool is big and clean. However the furniture in the room could do with a makeover.

Bad travel desk and bad service to and from airport/train. But hotel bar and restaurant staff Milind Rakesh & baba have me giving this hotel a decent review, otherwise I would’ve given 1 star. The first day the hotel driver took us to Ajanta Caves, & while We said we didn’t want to guide he took us to someone who we were told worked for the hotel and would walk us to the entrance - he ended up walking us into his shop!! Spent an hour trying to get us to buy stuff. then the next day we were pressured into stopping at other so-called stops that turned out to be shops . Last day we were told our ride to the train was complementary for the hotel and the driver ended up at the drop off telling us a cost of Rs.500 !! It was 3 minutes!! Unreal! I’m so disgusted w/the travel service. It was a rip off and don’t believe the who complimentary part of the pick up and drop off. That was my last straw, I might’ve let the rest go, but that angered me. To say it’s free and then charge us. I’ll be writing the hotel as well. See below the friendly driver who ripped us off in the end. Also posted photos of the employees who made the bad parts fade away w/good conversation - good gems in the hotel.

Extremely well-maintained hotel with a large backyard incorporating swimming pool. sports centre, tennis court, and a jogging and walking track. We stayed at room 119, which included an open verandah. Reception and housekeeping staff polite and helpful. Breakfast is very good, menu changes daily with chef standing by taking requests for making omelettes, dosas (rice crepes), uttapams, etc. Special mention to Babasaheb in the restaurant, who took special care for my mum and uncle's dietary needs. The buffet dinner is also very good, but could do with at least two non-veg items instead of just one chicken preparation which was quite spicy and hot to my taste. So one preparation could be less spicy and the other one spicier, keeping everyone happy. You also get a 20% discount on lunch and dinner while staying in the hotel. The reception staff allowed us to check out late at 2pm on request without incurring any extra charges. We also got dropped off for free at the local airport. The room furniture has an eighties feel, could do with a slight facelift, especially in the bathroom, but probably still will get away without doing anything over the next 4-5 yrs. Wifi reception pretty good, even in the swimming pool outside. Overall, a very good experience, and recommended to all who can afford it.
