I stayed one night at Summerhill House after completing a 3 day hike and preparing to head back to the states the following day. I had a comfortable, spacious room and throughly enjoyed the ambiance of the hotel. The employees were all very kind and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Totally perfect, from views and gardens to every attention to detail in the hotel. Quiet and secluded. Clean and sparkling. Staff is very attentive. Breakfast is wonderful.

Overall property was better than fine. Restaurant service was ‘ok’. Front desk service was terrific.

I've stayed here a number of times - it's perfect. Comfy rooms, staff are very friendly, food is amazing! Great location too, quiet and close to Powerscourt Estate. Would certainly recommend.

Beautiful setting for this hotel, and the place itself is as well. Lot's of vintage charm, but modern where it counts. Food was great, and the staff were all fantastic - every single one of them. We loved our spacious room, and will definitely stay there again. My favorite interaction with staff: I asked when the pub opened - they said "when you get back from your hike!" I asked how late it stayed open, they said "until you're done!" Love that!

Character hotel in a great location and tries very hard to be luxury. Bistro menu is interesting, breakfast menu extensive. Probably the best time to enjoy the hotel is not a rainy night in Jan. I was unlucky room Tv was faulty, and staff could not fix, Shower was cold and lacked any power and breakfast eggs one was very under cooked. However it would not stop me trying this hotel again in Summer.

Stayed to attend a wedding at Powerscourt, a comfortable stay. Breakfast was a bit busy and had to wait for a clear table.

The room wasn't up to standard. The bathroom was in poor condition with peeling paint and rust stains in the bath. Overall, the room was in need of refurbishment. However, the public spaces were very nice, the staff very pleasant and helpful and the breakdast was really spectacular.

One of the best we’ve ever stayed in. We will definitely be back. Lovely staff, lovely room and brilliant breakfast. Thank you so much for a restful evening in quiet luxury. Tempted to come back to do spa.

Excellent stay however no air con in room or hotel it was very warm and room was stuffy after shower other than that it was great breakfast and staff are great 👍

Amazing breakfast. Awakened very early with wildlife sqawking. No coffee maker in room.

The receptionist at the hotel was exceptional. She was very kind and helpful.

The hotel was beautiful but it’s very under staffed so last waiting for ages at the bar and at reception areas as no staff around aa all busy doing two or three roles each.
