The facilities for able bodied people were good though my wheelchair user dinner guest found getting through the main door to the toilets quite difficult.

The hotel practicallywas perfect in every way and particularly of great use for business meetings. The only reason I have not given this five stars is because as a resident of the hotel I’ve not experienced having to pay an additional fee for Spa access before- surely The should come as a pack of staying in the hotel and spending money on food and refreshments etc. On a positive side, the additional free refreshments and nibbles in the room was a welcome addition.

Parking charge of £10 is unnecessary and should be included with room booking. Fire alarm went off 3 times as a false alarm which meant going up and down the stairs with luggage and kids as lift stopped working. The room with 2 double beds was spacious and clean The staff are great though. Particularly the lady that was on reception evening of 6 June kind and helpful. The waitress and waiter in the restaurant that evening were great too. Although the restaurant was quite busy they remained polite friendly and helpful a real credit to the hotel did look short staffed for the amount of people dining though. The kitchen team also got out good food in good time too. Thank you

Ok, but be warned the hotel charges for many extras especially if you book through a 3rd party site. Parking £10 per night (now parking charges are completely acceptable if you’re staying in a city centre location but this hotel is not that!). Spa experience reasonable but at £20 per hear for hotel guests not what you would call a bargain.

Lovely hotel, very clean, rooms spacious and well equipped with iron, ironing board, hair dryer and tea/coffee making facilities, staff wonderful, plenty of choice for breakfast.

Really fresh and clean. Staff were very helpful and upgraded us which actually was really nice after the day we’d had. Would stay again.

Very happy with our stay and in our view there is nothing to address.

Great food, very comfortable

The Voco was way better than I was expecting. Really modern and very well appointed at a great rate. Very friendly staff and perfect for my business trip. Excellent food too in the restaurant. This way exceeded my expectations to be honest and I would happily stay here again when back in this area.

Really nice room, restaurant very good. But no hot water in the evening, not enough toilet paper (given 1/4 of a roll left from previous person and no additional new one) and fire alarm was set off at 4.45am. Staying for a swim meet so sleep was crucial. No apology or even reference to it on check out.

Lovely new property which is very clean and accessible for M3 and A34.
