The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help. The day and night entertainment, along with social gatherings, made for a fun and lively atmosphere. There’s a wide variety of food and drinks available almost 24/7, catering to different tastes. While the rooms could use some renovation, the overall experience is fantastic. The beautiful beach and accessible pool add to the charm, making it a great relaxing place. Overall, it’s definitely worth it!

Had a good 7 days here. Food was great, something for everyone all the time. Did the Japanese twice. Italian not worth your time. Drinks were always on point. Bar service at the main bar needs more staff, or to open a 2nd one. Long lines for drinks. Rooms clean, beds comfy. Grounds were immaculate except the pool. Maybe the filter needs to be repaired? By mid day we had to wade through dirt and scum to find a “clean” spot. Some algae build up on the walls and our floats were all green by the end. This will be the reason, I would not stay again.

Ocean and beach was beautiful and swimmable. Staff was very kind and helpful. We enjoyed the shows at night. They were really good! Good variety of food and drinks. They have a clinic and Doctor onsite which was greatly appreciated. We would go back to this hotel.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Iberostar Costa Dorada for two weeks in February, and it was an unforgettable experience! One of the highlights of our trip was the amazing Starcamp program, which our daughter absolutely loved. The daycare service ran from 10 am to 5 pm, and every day, she couldn’t wait to attend. The Starcamp team made sure she had a blast with a variety of activities. One of the best parts was the passport she was given, where she earned a stamp for completing each activity. It was a fun and interactive way to keep her engaged. The excitement didn’t stop there—Starcamp also organized special activities in the evening before the adult entertainment began, and our daughter even won a medal, which she still proudly talks about to this day! The staff at Starcamp were incredible. Their energy, kindness, and dedication made a huge impact, and I can’t thank them enough for creating such a memorable experience for our daughter. We’re already looking forward to our next vacation, and we can’t wait to return to Iberostar Costa Dorada!

They did not communicate properly about luggage transport. I was told 7am they start, then they kept tell me in 10 minutes, thenit startsat 730 am. Our taxi was there and our luggage did not arrive to the front until 755am. Things seem to be falling around like bed frames and electrical plug ins fromthe socket.

It’s an older place so you can tell it is worn down. Rooms are older and outdated. Pool was gritty on the bottom and just needing repairs. Construction was being done also while we were there. On the lawn and by a restaurant. Italian restaurant was not even available while we were there. The breakfast was awesome! Dinner buffet was terrible. Lunch buffet was not great either. The meats are dry and tuff. Drinks are only the cheap alcohol. So it tastes like rubbing alcohol in juice. Our stay was ok, but all together not great.

The most important part that people should be aware before coming to this hotel is FOOD POISONING WARNING!!! The food looks freshly cooked and tasty but there is a big probability that you will have food poisoning (stomach ache, diarrhea, muscle pain, headache and feaver). I experienced it by myself as well as my daughter. Moreover, we were asking people around and almost every second person out of hotel visitors was poisoned too. It doesn't matter what yiu eat or drink (fresh fruits, cocktails from a bar, meet, fresh juices...) you will have food poisoning. There is something really wrong about their food. Hopefully as more people will report this issue as sooner the problem will be addressed accordingly.

Firstly, love that it is an all inclusive resort - I like that I don't have to worry about food and drinks. There are plenty enough activities in the resort itself where you can participate especially if you're an extrovert, or be content to watch and observe if you're an introvert like myself. Foodwise, there were plenty specialty restaurants but if you've been in their main buffet, then you've been to all of it. Our concierge were helpful in placing our reservations. We have had a little problem where I woke up with the water flooding our bathroom. The front desk has been quick to send someone to fix it. The staff are all kind and happy to help. We love that we didn't feel obliged to give tips for every single service - that has made showing our appreciation much more sincere instead of transactional.

The staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to say hi and ask if you if there is anything you need. The property next door is very unsightly, and the beach front is littered with waste as you walk along the sand.

Hotels.com verified review

Hotels.com overcharged me an exorbitant extra guest charge which we did not have and it all went downhill from there since they made no genuine effort to right this wrong. They claimed to have attempted to contact the hotel for approval of a refund. The hotel claimed no one had contacted them. It was like an on going ping pong game where no one assumed fault and lack any care to resolve this issue. In addition, the hotel is an antique. The online photos are misleading. It needs a major overhaul. The only thing pleasant about the hotel is the staff.

First and foremost, the resort and staff were great! The only bad experience we had was the process of “becoming” vio members of the Iberostar flag. The specialist asks you questions in regards to how how much we spend on hotel stays and the number of times we go on vacations which in regards I understand but truly unnecessary when they can gather that information by simply seeing our booking at the time of visit, the “boss” as the specialist referred to him as, clearly has no grasp on how to optain in future members. Wasn’t until I brought up these points is when he brought over another specialist who actually gave us valid information and numbers on the process and cost of becoming a member. They need to tighten up and get with the times in regards to that process, guests shouldn’t feel like they’re being chosen or denied during that process. We overall had a great time cuz we didn’t let that experience tarnish anything.
