Sometime the wait was crazy long (over one hour at one point). They almost never brought the dishes at the same time so me. Sometimes they forgot part of the order. Staff was shy and felt uncomfortable speaking English. Couldn’t answer simple questions. The pool could use some upgrading, but worked fine to cool off. Sunbeds by the water had a super thin mattress and were quite uncomfortable. Some sunbeds by the beach were broken and the sun beds by the pool had seen better days but worked fine. The cleaning staff did not read the do not disturb sign and knocked and opened the door a couple of times when we did not expect it. Nothing was on time: transfer to/ from the airport, the boat ride, the food etc.

We have a excellent time at the Gloria Maris the staff were very friendly and very helpful, from the reception, the restaurant and the bartenders, the food was delicious and the view from the room was a breath taking, an overall was a fantastic experience I will definitely recommend to anyone

Where do I begin... No one to take the bags up to the room on the 3rd floor was our 'welcome'. Breakfast SUCKED! Didn't provide change of towels or soap. The blond lady at the front desk, Mary, tried to rip us off on every taxi/trip/boat booking...Unreal!

Absolutely phenomenal all around. The setting of the hotel and views from breakfast/pool area are unreal. Breakfast was also delicious and fresh! Private beach with a very tropical and secluded ambiance.

Incredible property, well kept with very nicely furnished rooms. Ample parking, convenient location and friendly staff. The sea view from the hotel is breathtaking!

This property was great. The hotel was very nice and convenient as they have a great pool, dining and bar options and access to its own beach. They also make it easy to book rental boats, rental quads and some tours right from the hotel. There’s also a minimart connected to the hotel for the all the essentials you would need. The only disadvantage was there are limited dining options in the area.

This hotel has potential to be a great place to stay. Ladies at the reception are very nice, but other staff not so nice. Hotel is not very environmental friendly - no drinking water stations or shower gel dispensers. Shower gel is another painful subject - on arrival we had two small bottles and we haven't received new ones for the whole stay (7 nights). Room was very small and not very functional. There was no hair dryer in the room, but you can get it from the reception. On the good side - breakfast was quite nice although same every day. Pools and other communal areas are really nice. Great view! It's disappointing that the infinity pool is not available for all guests.

I booked the penthouse for 1 week. This was to include 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. I arrive to discover the second bedroom is a mattress on the floor upstairs with construction materials stacked in the room. After the 1st night, the cleaning staff locked the access to the room and I couldn’t even use it! The bathroom was also disgusting and unsanitary. I filled the tub on the 1st night, turned on the jets & orange algae and other peoples hair came out of the jets. I have never been so disgusted! I had to spend my own time and money to purchase cleaning supplies and scrub the bathroom just to be able to safely use it. The bedroom linens consisted of 2 sheets & no blankets or options to receive blankets! In the evening it gets quite chilly so I found myself sleeping in sweaters. During day the penthouse windows heat up the entire space gets very hot. The a/c would be great, IF IT WORKED! Don’t expect to have any place to hang your clothing. There are NO hangers. NO hooks. The only closet is locked with no access. My suspicion is all the blankets are in there. Haha! If you want to sit down at the table for a meal, forget it. There is a large dining room table and ONE chair. If you want to watch TV you’ll have to set it up yourself. (And I mean completely set it up). The TV is on the floor with all its electrical components behind it. Speaking of…be weary of all the open wiring at every outlet, light switch and plug in lamps. I could go on if I didn’t have a 1500 character limit!

Great common areas but you only get access to the best (infinity) pool if you go for a Junior Suite. The views from the outdoor restaurant are amazing. Good breakfast, average service, hotel seems under-staffed, room was not clean and items such as old contact lenses were left from the previous guest

We stayed at Gloria Maris in September 2021 and loved it. The first thing we loved of course was the gorgeous view of Marathonisi Island, the pool was with a great little bar that served food, and as you walked down to the ocean there was another bar serving food and more lounge chairs. On the small beach is a captain that can arrange trips for you, we even asked him at 4PM if he could take us on a sunset cruise at 6:30PM and was no problem. The rooms were comfortable, and the front desk employees were very kind and helpful with advice about the island. Would stay here again!

had a great stay - the hotel and staff are amazing!

For starters the rooms have an amazing view!! Food was amazing thanks to chief Freddy…everything on the menu taste really good. As for the bartender Eddie he was just an amazing guy serving great drinks and easy going guy!! Location was not bad at all. You get the views of the ocean and turtle island right across which I recommend to take a tour to turtle island and relax. The infinity pool was key and down a couple stairs the beach small but beautiful. You have the option of the pool the infinity pool and the beach steps away. It really is an awesome hotel where you really feel like you’re in paradise! The private suites are to die for WOW! I really enjoyed my stay there no worries…staff were all great especially Eddie and Freddy my Favorites! Pool bar and restaurant stay open late. Town and airport 15-20 min away…taxi there about 20-25 euro. Overall I made the right choice in picking this hotel so worth it and you can’t get better views but here!!

We had a lovely weeks stay at the hotel, bed and breakfast. From arrival all staff where very friendly and were a delight to be around during breakfast and dinners spent at the hotel. The breakfast was ok, my partner was not a fan but I thought it was fine! Dinner in the restaurant was absolutely stunning we ate there twice, more for convenience, as the food was plain and not flavoursome. It is a shame as it has soo much potential with the stunning views and staff! So worth it just for that. You may just be underwhelmed when the food arrives. The room was incredible super modern and chic, with a beautiful wet room. The whole vibe of the hotel grounds were super cool and insta worthy! The location was good as it was out of the way of the strip, but close enough to hop in a taxi and it not cost the earth! We did walk to cameo a few times, 25 min walk mainly flat so not too bad.

When we're arrive hotel was overbooked they send as to villa where was stink loots of insect After 2 days we are ask for room at hotel We get one with garden view not really pleasant with extra €8 per night charge for AC I can pay with no complaint but that was to much even for me.
