Absolutely loved staying at Hibiscus. The property was lovely and quiet. Rooms are very spacious and well equipped. Check in after hours was smooth and all staff were very friendly and helpful. It’d definitely stay there again.

Lovely relaxing stay. Rooms a little tired but very clean and comfortable. Avoid unit with shower over bath as dangerous to navigate but a few rooms have been changed so just request walk in shower when booking. Stairs to units but we managed no problem. Comfortable bed. Able to self cater well enough whilst also short walk to Main Street and many restaurants and pub grub. Great pool area x 2. Very handy Location. We would stay again as reasonable rate for Port Douglas central. Staff friendly and helpful Thanks for a relaxing stay Hibiscus.

A beautiful location and accommodation. Loved the pools. Our unit needed a little maintenance on doors and windows but all other needs were met well.

Great position,staff on reception extremely helpful and efficient, great bbq areas and 2 pools we are regulars to Port Douglas as we are locals in Cairns and will definitely stay again at Hibiscus.

The bed was extremely hard like sleeping on concrete.

No lift at the property so we had to change to a lower level room and still carry our suitcases up a flight of stairs. Being in our 70's this was not easy.

In a great central location. Within walking distance to shops, supermarket and eating cafes and restaurants. Staff were very friendly. The gardens and pools were well kept and very inviting. We used the BBQs which were clean and looked relatively new. Parking was easy. Our unit was ideal for the two of us. Kitchen a little small but adequate and well equipped. Bathroom looked recently refurbished, modern, fresh and clean. Bed was very comfortable and lounge area was also very comfortable and well equipped. No hesitation in returning to Hibiscus Gardens. :)

The protection from the Easterlies around the pool was a great bonus

The property was in a great location. We walked everywhere.

Grounds are beautiful . Wonderful pools and atmosphere. Close to beach and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Great location. Some reception staff don't demonstrate good customer service while others helpful . Felt at times was being nickled and dimed. Charged for toilet paper and doing laundry. Think given cost of staying this should be included as other apartments don't charge for this where we have stayed. Didn't think apartment was that clean on arrival and no room cleaning with apology they don't have staff . Should at least place sanitizer in apartment and mop or swifter so we could clean ourselves.

Great Balinese vibe

Loved the 2 pools, quiet but close to everything location and Balinese feel.

We loved our stay at Hibiscus. It is such a beautiful resort with a very Balinese feel to it. Jenny was absolutely lovely and welcoming, you can tell she is passionate about what she does. Hibiscus was so close to everything in Port Douglas literally walking distance to everything, the beach, the marina, the shops and the restaurants which made it so convenient as we were travelling with a 1 and a half year old baby. The pools and gardens here were amazing and well looked after, nice to relax in after long days out and about. Only negative is we found 2 cockroaches in the apartment and the lounge could use a clean but other than that all was good!

It was convenient to everything. Close proximity to beach, restaurants and shops. Nice relaxed environment. Pool was relaxing and grounds were well maintained.

Catered perfectly for our family with 3 teenagers. Location was great. 2 very nice pool. Friendly staff.

The fridge had an unpleasant smell which was attended to by housekeeping staff. The view from the balcony was very disappointing as it overlooked the property next doors airconditioning units & a garden of dead plants. Everyone else had lovely views.
