Nice, but dated hotel. They have done a great job on the maintenance. The place was almost empty when i stayed. Great staff, nice food Tiny pool Ice cold AC

Loved this place. Simple and more than you expect for what you pay. Nice little breakfast spot nearby on the beach. Service was great from the staff. You'll have to renew wifi access almost every day at the reception. Trips into Santa Marta proper are about 5 USD and 20 mins. Would come back here. Cheers.

This was a great place to stay, it is clean, safe, food is great (best arepa con huevo for breakfast). The staff is awesome too.

The personell is amazing and lovable. Some areas were closed due to maintance. Our room whas clean and cozy

The staff very helpful, the food is really good. The only thing we notice, flies have to be control in the dinning area.

What an amazing find. This beautiful boutique hotel has everything you need for a nice getaway. Beach deck bar and restaurant were awesome. The staff could not have been more friendly and serving. I will definitely stay here again...

Don't stay here. I chose this hotel because it was close to where a conference I was attending was being held. I paid for 4 nights (through Orbitz) but only stayed one. I hated it that much. The area surrounding the Tequendama was bad. I didn't feel safe walking the 8-10 minutes to the conference hotel (especially with a laptop). And I didn't feel safe leaving things in the room because of the surrounding area (although, yes, there was a safe in the room). The room had A/C and a TV, but no desk, which I needed to work on my conference paper. I checked in and was shown my room, and within 5 minutes a mosquito landed on my bed and just stayed there-- atypical behavior for a mosquito-- so I killed it and an exorbitant amount of blood stained the sheet from the dead mosquito-- not a good start. The bathroom screen had huge holes in it and the bathroom door had a huge gap between it and the floor, so it didn't really help to close the door. I'm not up for sleeping somewhere with mosquitoes in the room--especially when paying this much. In addition to a broken screen, the shades in the second bedroom were broken. I put pillows against the window for privacy, but the pillows did not fully cover the area. I just wasn't happy here. The service in the restaurant is bad, as other reviews suggest. The food was good. It's not a horrible place to stay, but it's hostel-worthy, not hotel worthy and it's not worthy of the price. Find a cheaper hostel or an actual hotel.

Wonderful hotel, very attentive service, the best sunset, BUT bad neighborhood. I was attacked by “security dogs” from nearby small businesses at night twice. Very aggressive animals. The beach door was locked at 8pm, so if you planning to walk on the beach after dark-good luck. Scary experience.

On the Caribbean, big sandy beach. Rooms cleaned daily, beds maid. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pool was small. Only had breakfast which was limited. Only used it a base. Quiet at night, which I liked.

Long chairs were in poor conditions and pool was not really clean.

The deck provides you with the most beautiful sunset . The place is very relaxing. The room's are small but confortable the balcony is to small you can not fit two chairs. In general is a nice affordable place.

Everything was great. Enjoyed my stay throughly! ! Will be back

Very close to the beach, feels as if it's a private beach.
