The very clean. Quiet area.

The receptionist was stern and unwelcoming. The room was pokey and the adjoining bathroom was even worse. Car parking was extra and the spaces weredifficult to manoeuvre into. Room was clean and the bed comfortable.

I booked a room at this hotel to be conveniently. Lose to Gatwick Airport, from where I would be meeting my family arriving the next day. The hotel clearly stated on their website that they offered complimentary airport transfer, which was a deciding factor for me as I am disabled and was travelling on my own. On departing the hotel I asked about the departure time of the next complimentary shuttle, only to be told that I would have to pay £13 to be taken to the terminal a short distance away from the hotel. I was told in no uncertain terms that if I didn’t pay I would not be able to avail myself of the “courtesy transfer service”. I felt uncomfortable and coerced and given my disability I had no alternative but to pay for the service. I showed the passage on the website that stated “complimentary” to hotel staff to no avail. I would not stay at this hotel again as I felt cheated and misled.

Booked for my son for an overnight stay before flying out from Gatwick. When i called to confirm a couple of things i instantly knew id made a good choice. Service fantastic, rooms clean, staff friendly and shuttle they provide is very convenient. This would always be my first point of call for the future and its affordable.

The room was well decorated, clean and had a very comfortable bed. The down side was from the noise from the hotel bar directly below the room (number 1) plus the traffic noise outside (though that is the not the fault of the hotel). Also people leaving the hotel talking loudly very early in the morning outside the hotel also disturbed our sleep a couple of times.

Liked the location near Gatwick but having some character. The bathroom door had to remain closed (and it was very small) due to the steam setting off the fire alarm in the room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed a good dinner there too.

This hotel was perfect for what I needed - a small room where I could sleep, and a shuttle the next morning to Gatwick airport. The 7am shuttle was full with other people who were at this hotel for the same reason. My room was tiny, but I knew that when I booked. It was all I needed.

Friendly and helpful staff. Very convenient for an over nite stay before a morning flight from Gatwick airport. A bit of a noisy night with a busy road close by. Surprisingly it wasn’t airplane noise but rather road vehicle noise. Therefore I had to keep my window shut which made the room somewhat stuffy. Position of the bed in the room had the head right at the windows and as the curtains didn’t fit snuggly, light from outside beamed onto the head area. Perhaps the bed could be turned 90 degrees to avoid this discomfort?

I liked the location close to Gatwick Airport and to a small village to have dinner. I appreciated the shuttle to the airport but surprised they charged for the service. I would like to have had a wash cloth in the bathroom. My room was clean and comfortable for an overnight stay. I would stay again.

This hotel was near Gatwick airport, room was clean and spacious.

Good, clean, help, friendly staff. Ideal for airport stay overs. Stayed in a double room with an external bathroom (my choice at time of booking) no complaints, and an ideal place for a night before or after airport runs.

The staff were absolutely lovely. We were able to get a wonderful supper even though the kitchen was to close in 10 minutes. The room was clean & the bed comfortable. Will absolutely stay there again.

It seems more like a transit place. Limited amenities. Limited dining options. Requested a meal and offered something else. Good for overnighters before flying out if standard hotels not available
