We booked the hotel to attend a music concert at the Futurascope Arena. The hotel is clean and tidy with excellent facilities. The bar has tables with games on them which was a unique touch. Check-in was easy, staff where very friendly and efficient. Room was a good size, bed was comfortable. The only downsides were that their were no drink making facilities in the room and the bathroom and toilet area were tired. We would use the hotel again.

When we arrived, the two young ladies on reception (one on Ibis, one on Ibis Budget) both insisted that I needed to have a sheet of paper to be able to check in. (Bond du something). The booking number or my noame were worthless. Gallic shrugs all round. Eventually, I said I had not booked as a package with our Futuroscope tickets, and smiles and dcomprehension dawned, our number was looked up, my name was there. Really, these receptionists should not assume everyone has booked a Futuroscope package. I only realised those were available after booking the hotel. I would have printed out everything I was sent, so was mystified that a non-existent piece of paper was vital. This was very upsetting after a long drive, to think we had nowhere to sleep! After that, all was perfect.

So Ibis group generally is ok for the price you pay, but this particular hotel sorry to say but is not. The rooms need to be updated, maybe like the Ibis Bordeaux Lac, they are really nice, and also we cannot understand why staff don’t speak English?! At dinner time me and my wife manage to order food in Spanish because even the menu was in French?! And about allergies could be very tricky as well. This is not the first time we see French staff in hotels that don’t say a word of English, why? If in Portugal you don’t talk English you never get chance to be in touch with hotel customers, but in France seems ok for them, not get the point really.

Hotel room was definitely tired and needed a refurbishment. However it was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The dining area was very good and the buffet breakfast was excellent! We would definitely stay there again.

Good place to stay. Room was nice and modern and very clean. Food was ok if you like fish. The steak was good, but you need to tell chef to cook it longer, otherwise you would get it blue!. Ideal place to visit Futuroscope. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Budget hotel near highway and on site of the Futuroscope, French theme park. On the location and rooms themselves, it does what it says on the tin - budget decent hotel. The surprise is the restaurant, both at dinner time and breakfast with a buffet with choice and quality. Dogs tolerated as well which is great for the weary traveller. A nice discovery. Worth considering when we come with kids to the actual theme park !

An extremely comfortable bed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good buffet breakfast for a reasonable price. The hotel was clean and tidy throughout and very good value. Just a few minutes walk from the Futuroscope Park.

We were staying at the Ibis just as an overnight stopover en route south from Dieppe to Aquitane. It is a light, clean and cheerful place. The receptionist was a young man who switched quickly to impeccable English when I started to struggle in French. We had a lovely evening meal, buffet style, in the restaurant, and a good, substantial breakfast. The room was comfortable and quiet, making for a good night's rest.

By ibis standards this is one is a good well maintained modern example. Communal areas were surprisingly modern and well maintained. Rooms were spacious but basic, very clean and tidy. The area itself is great if u are visiting the theme park but it’s a good 15 min drive to visit Poitiers, which is worth seeing.

Stayed here before. Apart from Restaurant, everything has detiorated. Room at 80 euros is much smaller, only one small chair for a booking of two adults. No refreshments (ie coffee etc) in the room. Poor value for money. Probably will not return.

Functional, and reasonable value, but it's a place to sleep, no more. Amazingly, dinner was better value in the fun park than at the hotel! Buffet breakfast offers reasonable choice, but nothing more than that, and the room was small, and the bathroom cramped. We were advised that the hotel had a 25m pool, which might well be the case if you measure the full perimeter. Overall, this was a little below what we were used to from Ibis, but it is nevertheless a good value option for the park.

The hotel was perfectly good. The staff weren't super helpful but were polite. The buffet dinner and lunch are overpriced but there is no alternative as they are no restaurants nearby. The rooms were clean and comfortable and it's very close to Futuroscope (which is brilliant!). There is a pool but it's small.

Overnight stop near Poitiers for access to Futuroscope. Hotel was clean and tidy. Rooms basic but clean and well presented. Staff friendly and helpful. Very convenient for Futuroscope park which is only 2-3 minutes away.
