Friendly staff and beautiful skyline views. Rooms were quaint and bathroom was very roomy. Super steep walk up to the hotel. Hotel had a couple parking spaces available but it was challenging to park because of how steep the streets are.

This hotel is wonderful with very friendly staff, and it is well-maintained. The view from the rooftop patio and pool area is amazing. However, the roads outside the hotel are extremely steep, which makes parking challenging. Additionally, walking in the immediate vicinity of the hotel can be difficult. I would not recommend this location for anyone with limited mobility.

Absolutely adorable little hotel. Staff was very nice. Amazing views from the rooftop pool area and the kitchen where breakfast was served. Our room was clean and comfortable. Only warning I’ll give is that it’s located at the top of a very steep hill and to get down to the main downtown area you have to use a lot of steep steps. Wasn’t an issue for us, but if you have any mobility issues it’s something to keep in mind.

The views were stunning, the staff outstanding but it was the marriage between authentic Mexican culture and hospitality that had us sold. We met several other guests from all over North America during breakfast which was served in the common area right by our room, Sol 4. The room was large with firm but very comfortable beds(2) The bathroom is outside the room but secure and for our room's exclusive use, it was not an issue for us. The only downside is the hill the hotel sits on, if you have mobility issues you will need to use Ubers or taxis to get there. Having said that, once you have done the hill several times it gets easier but Uber/taxis are super inexpensive. I highly recommend this hotel if you want something romantic and not your standard cookie cutter. Again the staff especially Mercedes were super helpful and accommodating. Loved our stay.

This is a wonderful, art filled hotel where you feel like you are in Mexico. You can easily get an Uber, but what fun we had walking up and dow stairs outside to get to famous places in minututes.

Loved the art throughout the hotel. Our room and balcony were beautiful. There are lots of stairs and the property is on a steep hill, so wouldnt recommend to those with mobility issues.

This hotel was beautiful. A previous house converted into a 14-16 room, boutique hotel in the middle of Centro. Our room was the Eclipse 4, which had a king size bed, two small tables, a sofa, and a decent size bathroom. We would walk up a flight of stairs to get to the common area for breakfast and every night, we would walk the two flights of stairs to the beautiful roof top pool and patio. The views from hear are just stunning. My only complaint... and it's not really a complaint because it's part of its charm... is that the hotel is not as soundproof as your regular hotel. It is somewhat open air and you are in the middle of Centro. Puerto Vallarta is in a constant state of construction and on the weekdays, the noise from that filters in quite easily. We've recommended this hotel to anyone we've talked to about our trip. Just remember to bring your walking shoes and be prepared to climb a lot of stairs leading upto the hotel!!

A little bit of a walk up, but you’ll need it after the great food and drink…& the view is unreal. I’ve stayed all over the world, and this is my favourite hotel. Well appointed, beautiful artwork everywhere, and the staff are amazing.

The property was one of our best stays ever, and that saying a lot for world travelers. It was excellent, Estella was our room and it was exceptional. Property is difficult to access though for those with bad knees or mobility concerns. It is high on the hillside above the Malecon, but that affords it an excellent view.

The hotel is a true Mexican boutique style hotel with an amazing view from the rooftop I would caution the following it is a very steep cobblestone road and its a walk to Malecon so if you are not confident in your mobility stay somewhere else. The taxis will come to the hotel but they dont like to.Their english is limited so keep that in mind Also breakfast and coffee are not available until 830 and breakfast is only toast and fruit We asked if there was a small coffee pot we could use to make our own coffee in the community kitchen They didnt understand so we finally purchased instant coffee and made our own No bath mat in the bathroom had to use hand towels to dry the tile floor which was very slippery and dangerous when wet. With a few minor revisions it could be a really lovely hotel I am still not sure if the amazing views make up for what it is lacking
