First the good things: staff was prompt and humble, evening cultural hi-tea set up was entertaining. But won't repeat this hotel for below things: 1. Most inconvenient hotel for tourists: they don't allow autos inside the hotel and don't have any shuttle to take you from the main gate to hotel lobby. So you have to walk up the hill to the lobby. In city like Udaipur where half of the attractions are not reachable by car and autos are the only option to roam around. It was so frustrating especially fory mom who can't walk much. 2. Uncleaned bathrooms: on the outside hotel looks presitine, but bathroom were terrible. It felt like we are residing in a 1-2 star hotel

Rooms are not Updated. Iron had mold on it and shower knobs fell out and no one fixed it. The manager of this property isn't a nice person even though we've booked 6 rooms at about $500 USD a night they didn't care about us not having hot water to shower or even a shower knob. Do NOT stay here. I've never been treated like this before. The overall staff is friendly but Management team is horrible and treat their staff bad.

Wow from outside but soon as you enter in property drama start.Staff look overtired and customer service don’t have enough staff.View from our first room window wad waste land and whole window seal covered with pigeons poo .All night people from wedding reception making loud noises so not sleep well.Amazing property and nice touch that they do evening coffee and tea with cultural activities.We were looking forward to stay at this property and enjoy but they have ruined our holiday.Upstairs restaurant has fantastic view but food and service is not good and we probably had worse breakfast in our 2 months holiday.We stayed in deoghar in 3 /4 star hotel and there breakfast,restaurant food was amazing and service is like 10 star .When you choose to stay in this kind of hotel you have high expectations and Radisson are failing every time,in last 2 months we probably stayed 10 Radisson property and they are not doing well but this hotel is the worst experience we had .

Everything was perfect at the property except the noise after hours (after 11 pm). Wedding guests were allowed to make noise to a degree where we couldn't fall asleep until 4 am. This is completely unacceptable and unfair to other guests at property. The walls are thin and we could also hear guests talking loud at midnight 4 rooms away from us. We had to let them know to keep the noise low. Didn't expect this paying top $ for the stay. I would have definitely given a 5 star rating otherwise.

At first we thought it would be a great experience as the check-in procedure was smooth, property condition was excellent but then the entire stay was horrible for us. Specially the service part, we asked the roll away bed to be placed in one of the room which took them 4 hours to provide. We called numerous time for the same but at the end we have to asked one of the floor man from the floor for assistance to install the roll away bed and hygiene procedure what we saw at swimming pool area is very unsafe and completely unacceptable. We were party of 14 people who used the pool and after that went to our rooms, and we saw them folding the same used towel and kept it there to be use again for new guest. We have recorded the person folding the same towel and showed them and complaint to manager upon check out but they did not believed us and did not took any actions. I would never stay here again and will definitely reach out to corporate about the same.

It was the worst property I ever stayed.Don’t go by name , all staff is local . Washroom was horrible, showers knobs were broken and flush was broken Have to call housekeeper for everything, as hair drier was not working, no body lotion and shower gel in toilet.Inexperienced staff, no bell boys to carry your baggage.

I recently stayed at the Radisson Blu Palace Resort & Spa, Udaipur, and I regret to say that my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, I was immediately disappointed with the room. The first room I was given had a terrible, musty smell that made it very uncomfortable to stay in. I raised the issue with the reception and no response for about 2 hours, and they moved me to another room. However, this replacement room was no better—there was no air conditioning working or heater, no good toilet flush, very dirty bathroom. The cooling system was completely ineffective, and the situation worsened when the hot water in the bathroom was only lukewarm at best and not working shower. The lack of basic amenities like proper heating or cooling and nasty bathrooms were frustrating. When I brought these concerns up to the front desk, the response was unhelpful and dismissive. The staff didn’t seem interested in resolving the issues, and I was given no alternatives or compensations for the inconveniences. I requested early checkout and I was informed there was no cancellation policy, they were ignoring Expedia’s call since beginning of my stay, which felt very unfair as they don’t want to give refund for my remaining stay/early checkout or better service as we paid insane prices. Overall, my stay was disappointing due to the lack of proper room maintenance, poor customer service, and a general disregard for guest comfort. I would not recommend this hotel at all. Thank you!

Terrible rooms. Bathrooms were awful. Two rooms were so bad. Asked to be moved to a different room. We prepaid thinking we get good rooms. Last room in the building with their cleaning trollies, dirty. Terrible.

Worst choice of Hotel I made during my trip planning. Firstly the reception was extremely poor when we checked in as they were overwhelmed by a wedding group which was checking out. The 1st room allocated to us had so many amenities missing and upon requesting them to send the same it took them over 1.5 hours. At night we had to request for a change of room as our neighbouring room had a very noisy family. Before, I forget no privacy as everyone can hear you from room to room as the walls are not sound proof. The new room was a junior suite but lacked the ambiance and had no view at all. It is located behind a few walls which are facing the pool. Again no amenities and they even forgot to restock fresh towels the following day. There was not enough hot water for 2 people or one has to wait a while for the water to heat - not sure what heating system they use. The shower drain were clogged so the bathroom was always flooded with water. However, the breakfas choice was good and the spa was OK. Upon check out we paid and left, the reception and cashier didn't have any greetings or farewell for us. We didn't we complain to them about our stay but they provided an extremely cold reception and didn't bother asking about our stay etc. Overall I would not recommend this hotel to anyone as its running down and they have not done much to keep up to Radisson Blu standard. The staff morals are too low hence, no good reception during arrival and departure etc.

One of the worst experiences we have had at a “5 star” hotel. We got married here 10 years ago and were excited to reminisce on our grand day. But the hotel has changed a lot since. It was not very clean. Most of the hotel staff were not helpful or pleasant to work with. The bedding was dirty when we first got to our room. We asked for housekeeping to come and change it but instead the guy handed over the sheets to my wife at the door expecting her to change them herself. We called again and someone else came and changed the sheets for us. Then later on the door handle came off. We called to get some one to repair it. Later the next morning my wife was coming to breakfast with my kid when the handle came off again and she got stuck inside the room. It took a bit for someone to come and when they did they were laughing about the situation. The marble floor was damaged when they opened it. Breakfast was underwhelming from other properties. The staff did not get 4 out of the 6 (ghee, 2x dosa, 2x parathas, uttapam) items we asked for and even the manager didn’t get us anything when we asked him. This was a poor service and managing team at the hotel. And very poor maintenance and upkeep. It should not be a 5 star hotel and I definitely would not recommend it.

Particularly pleased with the cab driver Rahul Garg who was excellent in his service to our trip from Udaipur to Mount Abu and return and later local tour in Udaipur. Rahul kept the car clean, drove safely and was very courteous. He planned our travel very well. Highly recommend his services to new guests.
