People at the desk could not have been more helpful. Very kind, very polite. The hotel rooms are a bit dated but could not beat the price. For our purpose, it was very well located albeit not right downtown.

The rooms had a good size but it wasn't clean as I espected. The wifi didn't work. There was no outlets next to the bed. Breakfast was good.

The staff and especially housekeeping could not have been more friendly and kind. Simple hotel but very economical. Couldn’t beat the location for our purposes.

exceed my expectation for a hotel at a small city. location is convenient, easy parking on site. property is well maintained. Overall a comfortable and safe stay.

good location, big supermarket and eating place next door. room good, breakfast ok.

It is on the edge of the town so you have to drive to get a meal - a lovely town though!

We had rented a Gite in a neighboring town, but when we arrived, it was a pretty nasty place, so we ended up booking this place, Hotel Ballidins, at the last minute out of necessity. We had a family of 4 plus a toddler and we booked the family room, which had an upstairs and downstairs, but the room is extremely close quarters. There is not much room to move around. The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful with getting a mini-refrigerator moved into our room and with suggestions on places to visit. The breakfast was also nice, but I have to be honest here, the room is just not that nice. The room feels dingy and outdated, like the designer was depressed. It smelled like dirty feet when we walked in and you would often get that whiff again near the bed. The room is dark and the colors in the room don't help it any, as it was purple. The bathroom is cramped to the point that when you use the toilet, your knees are against the wall and your face is about 4 inches from the wall. The A/C barely worked, but not enough to make it comfortable. It was hot while we were there and the A/C cooled off the room some, but not enough. Tried opening the window at night, but no screens. There was noticeable wear and tear in the hallways/elevator too. One positive is that there is a supermarche right next door!

Room reeked of smoke,air conditioning did not work . Would not recommend .

I just needed overnight accommodation when touring in the region.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay,the room and ensuite were clean and comfy and the hotel staff friendly and helpful and would happily recommend the hotel to friends and family

Hotel was fine. Clean and staff friendly. Only down side was no tea or coffee making facilities in room or anywhere in hotel outside of breakfast.

I had never stayed in a Balladins before always thinking them to be too cheap but I was pleasantly surprised. The checkin staff were very helpful and obliging. The room comfortable and quiet. The only downside was no restaurant so we walked over to the nearby supermarket and ate in one of the on site eateries. Certainly changed my mind about this hotel chain. It was easy to find and had on site parking.

1 nuit passée au balladins de Villefranche-de-Rouergue - accueil chaleureux et professionnel mais l hôtel vieillissant. Parking gratuit devant l hôtel. Très bonne wifi. Attention peu de restaurants autour.

sejour très agréable chambre très propre et calme, personnel très aimable Prestations (piscine jaccuzzi sauna) bien agréables et très bien entretenus. situation pratique possibilités de se rendre à pied (20 mn) jusqu'à Villefranche et visiter la vieille ville

Séjour détente très agréable pour un weekend. Hôtel calme. Literie très bien. Spa et piscine est vraiment un plus. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux. Le meilleur de ce que j'ai déjà connu. Personnel agréable. J'y reviendrai et je le conseille fortement. Il y a le choix au niveau restauration et en plus bien noté. Rien a dire.
