received ZERO replies from the hotel on all attemps to communicate with them

location was a grand old hotel.

Probably did not see the area at its best as it was raining and on a Sunday it was quite difficult to get something to eat. The hotel was very clean. Pillows not too great. Breakfast was ok, continental so standard in Spain. Staff at the desk and at breakfast were very helpful and friendly. Good location.

Excellent in all areas

Hotel was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Staff was very friendly, and the hotel was conveniently located, within walking distance, of all the sites I wanted to visit. I would stay here again, without question.

Central location with car park opposite, hotel customers get discounted parking. Great view from our 3rd floor room (there is a lift).

Pass on this one. 1 coffee machine for a whole dining room so you wait your turn for a cup of lukewarm coffee since the machine can necer heat up.

The staff was super friendly and helpful and the location was ideal.

We had 2 nights in Plasencia and the Hotel Exe Alfonso VII was a great base. The staff were very friendly and we felt most welcome. Would recommend!

Good hotel in the city centre, big room and bigger bathroom. Good buffet breakfast. Lots of bars/restaurants around the hotel

Good, clean hotel. No bar. Continental buffet breakfast was adequate.

Brilliant hotel, spotlessly clean, centrally located, comfortable, spacious, handy and secure parking and very good value. We got a perfect family room - two interconnecting rooms, one with double other with twin beds, but the double was so massive the kids insisted on sleeping in our bed too! Second time staying here as stop over en route to Seville to visit family and we will stay again in future for sure.

This hotel needs to upgrade its carpets, curtains etc. overall cleanliness needs improvement.
