Clean room. Excellent breakfast

The hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is a very interesting building. A very intimate venue and we enjoyed meeting the other guests. We had a great breakfast and opted to eat in the restaurant part of the dining and enjoyed a real local experience!!

The pictures do not do it justice. If you are from North America this will give you the ultimate cozy Scandinavian vibe. The lighting, candles even during breakfast, and room decor was such a welcome in the cold rainy days in October. It was bare bones with no conditioner, shampoo, hair dryer but still simple, cozy with warm people working there. The beautiful library is across the street and great to see. So quick and easy to the downtown centre. Centrally located. We loved our stay!!

Very accommodating friendly staff.

The staff were life-savers! They are all so friendly. All speak English very well. Check in is different from an American chain so plan ahead to be in hotel restaurant by 20:00, or make easy arrangements. The room was so quaint and beautiful. Breakfast was so traditional. I loved it. I've missed Kalmar and it was good to make a visit back and stay at this lovely place.

Limited parking, wifi ok, tasty breakfast (no hot food though), dust in room, vanity severely water damaged, restaurant outdoor seating right outside our window so could not have blinds open for sunlight.

Mysigt hotell med bra läge, men blev besviken kring vissa saker: - personalen vid incheckningen var osäkra på när frukosten serverades och det stod två olika tider på hemsidan. - toalettstolen i badrummet satt inte fast i golvet och sitsen satt inte bra på stolen så man fick vara väldigt försiktig när man satt där - Inga rullgardiner, vaknade när solen gick upp - städning i badrum kändes slarvigt utförd, det var dammigt och kalkigt här och där. - väldigt lyhört, sov dåligt då jag hörde samtal från rummen intill (inte skrik eller så).

Nice, clean room - kind service

We stayed one night at this exceedingly hospitable small hotel in this lovely little town. The food was great, too--simple and tasty.

What a cozy place to stay! Everyone was so friendly the room was comfortable, and breakfast was delicious with so many choices. The attached restaurant was so good I ate there both nights! I also got helpful ideas about places to visit while I was in the city.

Mysigt litet hotell. Fint rum med vacker kakelugn. Trevlig personal som välkomnade oss. Mycket goda pizzor på hotellets restaurang!

Perfekt

Ett antal hotellrum i centrala Kalmar i en äldre fastighet som även huserar restaurangen som serverar frukost. Det var kallt på rummet, elementen gick inte att höja. Ingen möjlighet att göra te/kaffe som man kan sakna om man anländer sent. Frukost var bra, vänlig personal.

Trevligt och mysigt rum, bra bemötande från personalen, bra och god frukost, fantastiska pizzor i restaurangen.
